Everyone loves a good ghost story, right? Here are 7 celebrity encounters with the supernatural. And to get us in the mood to read some scary (and true!) stories, why don't we put a thunderstorm on in the background...

In an interview with Complex, Ariana described her encounter with demons: "[W]e wanted to go to Stull Cemetery, which is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth.
I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon. I was like, “This is scary, let’s leave.” I rolled down the window before we left and said, “We apologize. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.”
Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture—they’re faces of textbook demons."
When asked by the interviewer to be shown the picture, she claims she deleted it. Ariana explains: "The next day I tried to send the picture to my manager and it said, '
This file can’t be sent, it’s 666 megabytes.' I’m not kidding.
I used to have a folder called 'Demons' that had pictures with all the screencaps in it, but then weird things started happening to me so I deleted it."

Not only has
Demi witnessed a UFO, she's also encountered ghosts. Her childhood home was haunted by a little girl named Emily: “
My house in Texas is so ridiculously haunted. Not by a bad spirit, but a little girl. I think her name is Emily. I’ve had a medium come over and ghost hunters, and they both told me the same name, Emily. When I was 3 years old my mom caught me talking to something by myself.
She asked, ‘Who are you talking to?’ and I said, ‘My best friend Emily.'”

Lucy Liu told US weekly in 1999 that she had sex with a ghost while on her futon. Of the experience she says that "
some sort of spirit came down from God knows where and made love to me. It was sheer bliss. I felt everything. I climaxed. And then he floated away. Something came down and touched me,
and now it watches over me.”

No stranger to the supernatural, Megan had a creepy encounter with ghosts at a hotel: "I was just in Mexico actually at my hotel [. . .] at 7 am — I had pre-ordered breakfast for 7:30 am —
I hear them come in with the little table, two people, I hear them pouring coffee and I thought 'Ugh, I'm not going to get up for another 30 minutes and my coffee is going to be cold. That sucks.'
So I get up 30 minutes later, no coffee, no food, no table, no nothing, no one there. I heard the doorbell ring, I answer the door, it's room service with my food, they bring it in. I turn around and all the bedroom lights are on and I'm like, you know what, I'm delirious, I've been traveling, drink your coffee. Brandy the nanny comes in later and she's like, 'Why did room service come in at 7 when we told them to come in at 7:30?'
So you can't tell me I'm crazy because two people heard it."

Jessica's creepy story starts out sounding like sleep paralysis, but ends up seeming much more sinister: "I had no idea what it was. I felt this pressure and I couldn't get up, I couldn't scream, I couldn't talk, I couldn't do anything.
Something definitely took the covers off me and I definitely couldn't get off the bed, and then, once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents' room and I don't think I spent many nights in that house ever again! [...]
But they got it blessed and they burned sage and stuff since then."Also, remember when Jessica took a selfie and accidentally captured a ghost?!

In 2009, while promoting The Lovely Bones, Peter shared a ghostly encounter that took place 20 years earlier: "
I woke up one morning and there was a figure in the room, she was very scary, she had a screaming face, very accusatory, she was a lady about 50 years old. It was terrifying actually, a very scary image and she was at the end of the bed and she glided across the room and disappeared into the wall. I sat in bed and thought, have I really seen that?"
"Then Fran
[his wife] came in. I told her about it and the first thing she said was:
'Was it the woman with the screaming face?' Fran had seen the same woman in the same room about two years before."

When Keanu was a child living in New York, he and his nanny both witnessed a ghost in their apartment. He shared this story on Jimmy Kimmel: "I'm probably 6 or 7 years old. [...] There's a doorway. [A]ll of a sudden we're looking over there,
this jacket comes waving through the doorway, like this empty — there's no body, there's no legs, it's just there. And then it disappears. I was a little kid and I thought, 'Okay, well that's interesting.' And I looked over at the nanny and she's like this
[making this terrified face]. And I'm like 'Oh wow. So that was real.'"
