To recap: 3 Generations is the film that was formerly About Ray. The film premiered at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival and was supposed to be released in theatres later that month. Instead it was abruptly pulled, possibly because of bad reviews, possibly because of all the negative press the writer-director got for referring to the character that Elle Fanning plays (who is a trans boy) as a girl, possibly because of Weinstein's financial woes or maybe a combo of all three.

- Terry Richardson is a famous photographer who has been accused multiple times of sexual misconduct. Most recently in 2014 a model spoke out about Terry's gross and abusive behavior onset.
- He still continues to be employed and was even brought back by Rolling Stone and Harper's Bazaar after the most recent allegations.
- He recently worked with Kylie Jenner and Whoopi Goldberg. Terry has also worked with other celebs and political figures in the past such as Beyonce on her video for XO, Barack Obama, and Miley Cyrus.
- It's an ongoing problem in the industry where men who are accused of such things are continuously employed like Woody Allen. Actors in Hollywood are still willing to work with him such as Colin Firth, Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix, Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Steve Carell, Miley Cyrus, Juno Temple, and ONTD Fave Justin Timberlake. And all of your celeb faves signed a petition to release Roman Polanski after he was arrested in Switzerland.

"It Still Moves a Lot of People": Ellen Page Looks Back at Juno 10 Years Later

Ellen Page and Jennifer Garner will be doing a live reading of the 'Juno' script today to benefit Planned Parenthood.

On revisiting the script: "I don't know if there's something specific. What it really comes down is taking it back to the very first time I ever read the screenplay that Diablo wrote. I was just utterly blown away and taken in: 'Holy shit! This is so phenomenal and unique and I have to play this girl.' That feeling of excitement, laughter, tears. … I'm excited about celebrating this beautiful thing she wrote. It still moves a lot of people.".

On Planned Parenthood: "In Canada I didn't grow up with this sort of debate. For me personally, Planned Parenthood is just about people having access to life-saving health care, whether it's about trying to get an abortion or Pap smears, or it's a trans woman seeking health care or a low-income person, it's pivotal and important. It's just that simple. To deny people's rights is horrific. Imagine all the queer people who are already suffering who can lose access to health care. It's just life or death. That's the reality."

On future roles: "I'm always trying to make LGBTQ stories, quite frankly, movies that include more queerness. I have a film in post now that's a love story between two women [titled Mercy]. I'm always trying to figure out things I can develop that incorporate more visibility. Selfishly I enjoy it, too."

  • The game has shipped 1.5 million copies worldwide days after its launch in North America and Europe.

  • 550,000 copies were shipped in Japan alone back in October.

  • In December 2013 it was reported that Persona 4 Golden (the biggest title in the Persona franchise at that time) had shipped more than 700,000 copies.

  • Persona 5 also became the series’ fastest-selling game after selling 340,000 copies within its first three days at retail in Japan.

Bijou Phillips Has a Kidney Transplant

Model/actress Bijou Phillips (Raising Hope, Bully) received a life-saving kidney transplant from a live donor, according to her husband, That 70s Show star Danny Masterson.

Masterson and Phillips, the daughter of John Phillips of the 1960s singing group The Mamas and the Papas, have been married since 2011 and have a three-year-old daughter. Masterson is currently under investigation by the LAPD for allegedly raping two women. He has claimed Leah Remini is behind the allegations as part of her criticism of the Church of Scientology, to which he belongs.

China's box office did not save 'Ghost in a Shell'

  • Estimated to make only $50~ million in China during its entire run

  • Has not opened in Japan yet

  • Next week Fate of the Furious, the 8th installment for the F&F franchise will debut

  • Furious 7 made almost $400 million in China (it made $1.5 BILLION worldwide), the biggest for a hollywood import (hmmm there is a lot of diversity in this movie...do you guys think theres a co-relation?)

  • xXx 3 made $60 million on its opening weekend and a total of $163 million total in China (it also had a diverse cast, hmmm)

“The Son” follows generations of a prominent Texas family from the 19th century onwards, who are embroiled in various bitter wars over land, power and resources at the still-new U.S.-Mexico border. based on the bestselling novel by Philipp Meyer

Members of Comanche Nation were consultants, and the show’s Native American cast members were also involved in discussions about various storylines.

Showrunner Kevin Murphy :
“It’s cheap to hide behind the curtain of historical accuracy. Just because something actually happened a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s socially responsible to market it on television as mass entertainment, and I think we have to be very careful as a culture in how we approach it.”


“The Comanche are very tough, they’re very brutal and I think, depending on your perspective, they can seem very cruel. That perspective broadens as the season goes on … when you meet the white Texas Rangers, the Buffalo hunters who are destroying the Comanche food supply, you meet the Tonkawa tribe, who were the longtime enemy of the Comanche, you sort of realize, oh, it’s not that the Comanche were so awful, it’s that world of the Texas North Plains is so horrifyingly brutal that this is the only way to survive, by being this tough and this draconian.”

One rape scene, designated for a future Season 1 episode, was cut due to these conversations.

“Even though it’s absolutely historically accurate that captives got raped, that’s just how it happened, in choosing what we select of all the different things we can show of the Comanche lifestyle, we realized we were leaning too heavily into the aggression on women. That was a case where if everybody didn’t feel comfortable enough challenging what we had on the show, we probably would have left it in. It was compelling footage, but it would have been wrong to leave that in. So I think we’re just trying to be really careful … Anything with violence with people of color, odds are we’ve had a lot of conversation about where our line should be.”

GOOP Finds Cure For Depression And Insomnia!

-Sentient steamed vagina and noted medical researcher, Gwyneth Paltrow, has done what scientists have been working tirelessly to figure out - she has found the cure to depression and insomnia!

-According to GOOP, walking around barefoot has positive health benefits (as long as you don't step on any rusty nails, used needles, or broken pieces of glass).

-Claims it's scientific! (it fucking isn't).

Just look at how NATURAL and HEALING this sheet looks!

Meghan Trainor reveals that Daryl Sabara learned sign language so that he could communicate with her

Meghan Trainor was on The Ellen Show yesterday to promote Smurfs: The Lost Village.

During the show, she revealed that her boyfriend, Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara, learned sign language to communicate with her while she was on vocal rest from surgery.

Meghan said that Daryl learned sign language to communicate with her during her 3 months of vocal rest.

Meghan also learned how to paint with spray paint from YouTube videos during the time that she was on vocal rest, and she gave Ellen a piece of art that she had created.
