Idk if I can offer a great summary b/c I mostly just looked at the kittens. She said it was her idea to make Belle the inventor, that Hermione and Belle are similar, and she answered a question about feminism while a kitten attacked the backdrop and it was very cute. I didn't pay attention to what she was saying b/c the kitten was going HAM on the backdrop. There was also a kitten who climbed onto her shoulder. The kittens are adoptable thru Best Friends Animal Society. Adopt, don't shop!

Bill Condon was asked about this and he gave the following response:

"It was sweet, it was very sweet of her. I hope she gets to make that movie. [Laughs.] I feel like I was so lucky in getting this crown jewel [The Beauty and the Beast], but I'll go see her in Little Mermaid, absolutely."

"Two years ago, in Los Angeles, I was examined by a doctor and given a note which gave me legal permission to purchase, from a registered outlet, cannabis-based products, which I was advised might help the ortho-arthritis in both my hands,” Sir Patrick wrote in a statement expressing support for Oxford University's plans to launch a landmark medical marijuana study.

“I purchased an ointment, spray and edibles. The ointment, while providing some relief from the discomfort, was too greasy to use during daytime and so I only use it at night,” he wrote. ‘I have had no negative side effects from this treatment and the alternative would have been to continue taking NSAID’s, Advil, Aleve and Naproxen, which are known to be harsh on the liver and to cause acid reflux."

Could become Emma Watson's highest opening film breaking HPDH2's opening weekend of $169.2M.

Donald Trump Once Kicked One Direction Out of His Hotel

In an interview with Rollacoaster magazine, Liam Payne revealed that he and his bandmates were once kicked out of a hotel by Donald Trump for not agreeing to meet one of his daughters (presumably Tiffany).

"Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once. You wouldn't believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter. He phoned up our manager, and we were asleep. He said, 'Well, wake them up,' and I was like, 'no,' and then he wouldn't let us use the underground garage. Obviously in New York, we can't really go outside. New York is ruthless for us."

"So he was like, "Okay, then I don't want you in my hotel. So we had to leave."

US Hockey Women's National Team to Boycott World Championships (Defending Gold Medalists)

On the 15th in a very coordinated effort Hockey USWNT postgraduate members tweeted out their decision to boycott their upcoming (March 31st) Hockey World Championships.




While many headlines focus on their plea for compensation they are equally concerned with having more games, having marketing for such games, tournaments, appearances and victory tours (they medal a lot), having a better / more robust development system for girls and equivalent support overall (insurance, equipment, etc)




Although the decision to boycott a tournament may seem hasty the USWNT has been after these changes for ~14 months / attained lawyers in February 2016.






After being met with such grandstanding / dismissiveness maybe it should not be a surprise that USA Hockey made a public ass of themselves and issued a statement that said that the US Women's Olympic Team stood to earn $85,000 over the Olympic cycle.

However what USA Hockey actually offers is $20,000 ($6,000 in the six months leading up to the Olympics where they are "in-residence" and up to $14,000 depending on a bronze, silver or gold medal) And that is once every four years.

The other ~$60,000 would come from the US Olympic Committee




Without responding to USWNT breakdown of the $85,000 USA Hockey began searching for an alternative team for the Worlds instead of resuming negotiations

Of course team USA came correct and had already informed the U-18 girls (and some parents) of their decision to boycott before the fact and stayed in contact with them on Thursday when USA Hockey attempted to field another team and gave the boycotting senior team a 5:00 pm deadline to make it known if they would be playing.

Also the NWHL will be streaming its finals (tomorrow) and semi-finals (tonight) on the ABC app & (news) website

Riverdale may be on hiatus, but there's still a bunch of stuff out there! A deleted scene featuring Betty and Jughead. Supposedly we'll get some more deleted scenes before the show comes back in another two weeks

Also, a shit ton of leaked scenes from the next episode



Some spoilers (take with grain of salt)


-Pictured are the friends who will help Archie out after Fred's crew leaves the job (Kevin, Moose, Jughead, and some random dude)

- (episode 8) Mr. Cooper wanted Polly to get an abortion. Alice kicks him out, and Polly ends up moving back home.

- (episode 8) We'll find out that FP paid Joaquin to get close to Kevin in order to keep an eye on Sheriff Keller (who still doesn't have a first name)

-episode 9 will see the return of Ethel as well as a plot that involves Archie and Cheryl. I guess Betty and Polly will also butt heads

- (episode 10) Archie throws a house party for Jughead's birthday. The cake will be shaped like a hamburger

- (episode 10) One of the guys at the party will storm out of the house and through the backyard
