Kristen Stewart fears someone will kill her...with Twitter

Kristen Stewart is worried her stardom might lead to someone killing her one day.

The Twilight actress - who recently confessed to cheating on co-star Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - fears someone will log on to a social networking site to find out her location, then travel to where she is and murder her.

"Nowadays it's harder because everyone is on Facebook and everyone knows where you are all the time, and everyone's twittering," she is quoted as saying in an extract from new e-book, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner - In Their Own Words, by Talia Soghomonian.

"Like I'm going to die because somebody is going to say where I am and somebody is going to kill me. Someone's going to twitter my location and then it's going to be like, boom."

While the 22-year-old star fears sites such as Facebook and twitter can be harmful in terms of her safety, she admits the communication possibilities on the webpages are "really great".

"I actually think too much of anything can be scary, but at the same time it's also an opportunity," she added.

"I mean mass communication is a good thing. It's actually a really great thing, it's just scary."

Delta Rae: Modern Folklore Music

0
0

Love songs are like the meat and potatoes of most rock and pop music, but sometimes you need something different. For the band Delta Rae from Durham, N.C., inspiration for new material comes from stuff like graveyards and being stuck in the wrong job.

Delta Rae is a six-piece band that includes three siblings: Ian, Eric and Brittany Holljes. Their music is like a kind of modern folklore.

With Brittany Holljes' bluesy roar, the insistent refrain "Hold my hand / It's a long way down to the bottom of the river" recalls those ominous old folk songs about a murder or an unfaithful wife. The video for "Bottom of the River" looks like a witch trial, with a young woman being marched down a dirt road by an angry mob.

Erin Williams of The Washington Post says the haunting vibe works for Delta Rae: "The chains in the background, the chanting. It's just great," Williams says. "They can evoke ideas of gospel and blues and rock, and put it all in there and create this amazing sound that really works for them."

The Holljes siblings grew up hearing stories of mythology and the supernatural.

"My mom loves folk tales," songwriter Ian Holljes says. "She would read Greek mythology to us and the Narnia books." He says there were often songs in the stories: "And she would just make up melodies."

Their mother's made-up melodies left a huge impression. Ian and Eric Holljes say they started writing songs when they were 12 and 10, respectively. When the family lived in California, Ian, Eric and Brittany joined a teen a cappella group called 'Til Dawn. That's where they became friends with the fourth singer in Delta Rae, Liz Hopkins.

James Deen, Courtney Stodden, Tavi and Others Recall Their First ‘Sex Talk’

0
0

Do you remember the first time you learned what sex was? If you're anything like James Deen, Courtney Stodden, or the other notable folks we asked about that milestone discussion, your (well-meaning!) parents didn't offer that much help

There's a "communication breakdown" in the way teens and parents talk about sex, according to a survey recently commissioned by Planned Parenthood, Family Circle magazine and the Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health (CLAFH) at New York University: half of all teens feel uncomfortable talking with their parents about sex, compared to just 19 percent of parents who feel uncomfortable talking with their teens.

But most people we know didn't learn about sex and sexual behavior from their parents. Instead, they got the dirty on what "Like a Virgin" was really about or what was happening during that Titanic scene from their friends, siblings, and various television sitcoms. Is it possible that parents just think they're acing the "sex talk" portion of parenting?

In honor of "Let's Talk" month, we asked a range of people how they remembered their first ever "birds and the bees" talk — or how they struggle with teaching their own kids about sex.

So how did your first sex talk go, ONTD? Was it awkward? Hilarious? Gross? Discuss below.

4chan & Anonymous target director of Smiley

0
0
When you think about “smiley,” do you think happy thoughts? If so, then that might change after the release of a horror movie called Smiley. By choosing to make 4chan / Anonymous the villain in this micro-budget slasher flick, the wrath of those collectives are aimed at director Michael Gallagher. He’s received so many death threats that the FBI is reportedly deciding whether or not to open an investigation into the “bizarre, life-imitates-art situation.”

What is the movie about? According to the synopsis of Smiley:

After discovering an urban legend on 4chan's /b/ board of a demented serial killer that has nothing but a carved 'smilely' on his face, Ashley, a mentally fragile teen, must decide whether she is going insane, or the next victim.

Choosing to hone in and point the finger at real group of people, as being behind the fictitious urban legend of a serial killer from the Internet, has had considerable backlash and painted a target on the movie's masterminds. Gallagher, known as @TotallySketch, tweeted:

Variety said Smiley has raised “hackers’ hackles” even though Gallagher and co-writer Glasgow Phillips claim they “were seeking authenticity -- and the chance to shine a light on one of the darkest corners of the Internet.” Since the prerelease, “Gallagher has endured a torrent of voicemails, emails, texts, message-board posts and comments laced with death threats, insults and admonitions to spam and harass the filmmaker, his colleagues, his girlfriend and his family.”

Gallagher told Variety that 4chan/b/ board allegedly published his home address, cellphone number, links to his sites and accounts, as well as information about his girlfriend, parents and cousins. Since then, 4chan and Anonymous have supposedly been bombarding Gallagher with about 40 harassing calls per minute.
Voicemail, email and text examples of the threats he is receiving include:

"DIRECTOR AND WRITER OF THIS FILM MUST DIE." … "We are considering killing his dog and reporting him for animal cruelty." … "Where is the hero that wants to go out in style when you need him? Killing the cast/directors would be a great way to end this life."

Although Gallagher says he has “thick skin,” he believes this is “different” because it involves his family, girlfriend and other people who worked on the movie. When it comes to the FBI’s involvement, the agency will not confirm or deny a possible investigation. Since the death threats began, however, “the FBI and Gallagher have since been in contact.” Variety noted that the FBI’s cyber division has prosecuted some 4chan users for child pornography in the past.

An interesting twist in this “life-imitates-art situation” is that while the backlash is coming from the power of the interwebz networking, the movie also uses the power of social networking to pimp Smiley
. Gallagher has a huge social media following on YouTube as TotallySketch. To help ensure the film’s success, he enlisted other YouTube and Internet sensations with “massive and active social media followings.”

Dread Central posted the Smiley press release:

SMILEY, co-written by YouTube sensation Gallagher and Glasgow Phillips (“South Park”) and produced by Michael Wormser (Some Guy Who Kills People) of Level 10 Films, has an enormous fan base to call on. Gallagher and his YouTube partners on “Totally Sketch,” as well as the other performers in the film including Shane Dawson (“Shane Dawson’s TV”) and Toby Turner ("The Annoying Orange"), have over 11 million subscribers, 2.2 billion views, and 4 million plus fans on Facebook/Twitter combined.

That social networking popularity for marketing is working and the original trailer has over 17.6 million views. Other cast members include Ashley being played by Caitlin Gerard from Magic Mike and The Social Network, Melanie Papalia from Endgame, Andrew James Allen from The Lovely Bones, Roger Bart from Desperate Housewives, Keith David from The Thing, and Liza Weil from Scandal.

Although Smiley -- "Evil wears a smile" -- has put out three movie posters so far, there are various movie tweets playing up the “share in 10 seconds” or else angle. On Facebook there are more posts playing up the power of spooky mingled with social network sharing such as “LIKE this Smiley post in 10 seconds or...”

The Wrap said Smiley has “ample blood and gore,” so if gory-horror-slasher films are your cup of tea, then the movie “will debut on Oct. 12, through AMC's independent platform on 28 screens in 14 mostly urban markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston and Atlanta.” AMC Theaters will exclusively release the horror film from Fever Productions, but AMC has removed any mention of 4chan the synopsis.

Guts and gore are not my type of thing, but Totally Horror wrote, "This movie actually looks pretty interesting. It has an interesting storyline and good actors."

Roseanne Barr is a Presidential Nominee, like for reals.

Roseanne Barr for president, Peace and Freedom party

Roseanne Barr will be one of the candidates on the presidential ballot in Florida in the November 6 election.

The outspoken entertainer represents the Peace and Freedom party and will be running against Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Barr’s running mate is Cindy Sheehan, an anti-war activist whose son was killed in the Iraq war in 2004. The party platform will be for legalization of marijuana and same sex marriage.

On Barr’s website regarding the economy she says, “The Bankers and the Federal Reserve need to be brought down. They have stolen our money, our future and the American Dream and continue to enslave us with a broken monetary system. There is no scarcity; there is manipulation of the resources. We need to end the wars, bring our troops home and our jobs back, create new Green jobs and put people back to work. We need a resource based economy.”

On the legalization of marijuana, “The legalization of marijuana is the way to end all Drug Wars and stop the monopoly of the subsidized prison systems. Our government and corporations are getting paid every time someone goes to prison for non-violent crimes due to marijuana arrests. Drug laws need to be rewritten to make them sane and people based. We need to end the prohibition on marijuana and legalize it.”

On an interview recently on “Hannity,” Barr was asked if she’s running as a socialist. Her response:

“Well, I'm running on the Peace and Freedom Party, and part of - - I do think we do need a little bit more socialism in this country this time. We need to move stuff from the top to the middle and the bottom, because it keeps on staying at the top. How you build the middle class is bring stuff from the top down to the middle. And people deserve something back for the taxes they pay.”

I'm not sure why the article saids that she'll only be on the Florida ballot, when I'm looking at the vote by mail pamphlet rn and I see her name (I live in California, so...).

Roseanne Barr: 'Romney Is Pro Rape'

By tweeting that "Romney is pro rape" on Wednesday, Roseanne Barr immediately ignited an online controversy.

Actress, comedian, and so-called presidential candidate Barr infuriated and embarrassed tons of people with her Twitter post.

Barr said she considers Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and his vice presidential running mate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., to essentially be pro-rape because they don’t believe in paying for abortions, even if a pregnancy has resulted from rape or incest.

Barr explained her thinking in a series of tweets:

“Both romney and ryan oppose paying for the abortions of our raped and forcibly impregnated female troops!” she said in one.

“Romney no longer believes that his health care program should pay for the abortions of our raped/forcibly impregnated troops," she said in another.

"Denying our raped and impregnated female troops the right to paid abortion is pro rape, pro rape culture, and anti american,” she said in yet another.

But Barr might have sent out the controversial tweet to bring attention to her own campaign because the actress will be one of a dozen presidential candidates on the Florida ballot in November, due to the Sunshine State's liberal ballot-access rules.

She is running under the auspices of her California-based Peace and Freedom Party. Her platform includes the legalization of the use of marijuana and same-sex marriage. Her running mate is Cindy Sheehan, an anti-war activist.

Sheehan became known across the country when she protested outside former President George W. Bush’s ranch in Texas.

On her website. Barr posted a statement saying “the bankers and the [U.S.] Federal Reserve need to be brought down” to help fix the US economy. “They have stolen our money, our future and the American Dream and continue to enslave us with a broken monetary system,” she said.

“We definitely do not have any serious choices in this election besides me,” she added in a video on her website.

She probably won’t be shying away from saying, “Romney is pro rape,” again during her campaign.

Mila Kunis' Perfect Balance

Hollywood icon Britt Ekland has praised Mila Kunis as a mature actress who won't let her love life and relationships get in the way of a successful career.

The 29-year-old actress is currently dating Ashton Kutcher and was previously in a long term relationship with Macaulay Culkin but Hollywood veteran Britt Ekland believes Mila will always be successful because she is so mature.

She told The Sun newspaper: "Mila is fantastic. She is lovely, petite and wonderful. And she's a modern, smart young person. "Her boyfriend Ashton Kutcher has a good career too but I think she has managed not to let her men dominate her life.

"A lot of young actresses have a hard time combining a reasonable love life with a career. "I think she's a good role model. She was a star at a very young age and has a very good TV background -- but converted to films very well She's 29 and has a certain maturity. But I have a feeling even if she was 21 she would still have that."

Britt also believes Mila is so popular because she is so down to earth. She said: "The whole idea that because it's Hollywood you have to be blonde and have big boobs and be inappropriately dressed -- I don't see that with her.

"Mila isn't a bimbo and she doesn't dress like one. Big handbags and expensive dresses aren't her thing. If you go outside acting and look at the Kardashian phenomenon, it's a huge brand and it's all about status -- Mila is the complete opposite.

"She either dresses up for the Golden Globes or the Oscars or she is dressing casually for herself. You don't see her go out in Lady Gaga-style shoes."

For those wondering who Britt Eckland is, she was a Bond Girl in "The Man with the Golden Gun", Charlize Theron portrayed her in "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers". FWIW I think Mila would make an excellent Bond girl, what do you think ONTD?

An intruder was arrested on suspicion of burglary after being found inside the home of 19-year-old rock heiress Frances Bean Cobain on Saturday.

According to reports the man claimed he knew Cobain and that she had given him permission to stay at her Hollywood Hills mansion.

Law enforcement told TMZ Cobain's house sitter came across the white male in his twenties when she returned home today.

The house sitter called police and when they arrived the man repeated his claims.

Law enforcement told TMZ that when police contacted Cobain, her representaives told them she had no clue who the man was.

He was subsequently arrested for burglary and is currently in custody.

Cobain purchased the upscale home with proceeds from a multi-million dollar trust fund set up after her father’s death in 1994.

She bought the luxury home in July 2011 for $1.825 million. The luxurious home is 3,350 square feet and boasts 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

The Spanish-style house was built in 1930 and designed by Carl Jules Weyl, it also retains a lot of the original architectural and decorative features.

7 Iconic Horror Movie Weapons

0
0

In the realm of the horror film, if the villain doesn’t have massive claws and teeth, then they’re going to need some serious hardware to do their killing. This is a list of some of the most memorable killing implements in horror movie history.

Michael Myers – Kitchen Knife
Let’s get the obvious entries out the way first. While the Halloween costume wearing psychopath has dispatched a whole horde of hormonal teens and donut munching deputies in a number of creative ways, he’s a slasher at heart. His weapon of choice is a broad bladed kitchen knife, often shown on movie posters and DVD covers. He’s mostly fond of deep and violent stabbing as opposed to messy slashing like so many others in the genre.

It’s sort of amazing that he’s managed to endure for so long with such a simplistic signature weapon (not that it’s the only thing he uses), but it’s probably more the unnerving Halloween costume he’s wearing that makes him so memorable. That boiler-suit and William Shatner mask combo is just creepy.

Jason Vorhees – Machete
Jason is one of those love them/hate them villains, he’s had a lot of changes and ret-conning done to his background, going from corpse to mentally damaged drowning survivor and then to supernatural serial killer wolverine with a machete…. and finally a frickin’ cyborg. There are pretty much two regular features to this killer. One, he wears a hockey mask (okay that’s a lie because that starts in the third film), and two, his signature weapon is the machete. It’s not that he even needs the thing in later films as he’s shown as freakishly strong (seriously at one point he punches a guy’s head clean off), he just seems to like them and frankly he wouldn’t be the same without one.

Freddy Krueger – The Glove
This is the first weapon to actually have some sort of originality to it in the list. Freddy’s glove was his own personal creation. It’s a custom made prop based on a quirky kitchen knife design that was turned upside down and blunted and re-sharpened on the other side. The original had a rough, homemade look to it, a device of leather and metal, wielded by a brutal child killer. Let’s face it, he’s still pretty recognisable with just the burnt face and the red and green jumper, but he’s just not the same without the razor glove.

With Freddy’s supernatural powers, the already unique weapon was used for some surreal and creative kills, certainly a lot more entertaining than someone walking very slowly up to you and just stabbing you.

Leatherface – Chainsaw
Considering that this weapon is literally part of the title of the film it’s from, it’s pretty hard to leave it off the list. The simple fact is that despite the brutality and violence of the hulking Leatherface, he just wouldn’t be as scary without his chainsaw. It’s as much a part of his outfit as the bloody apron and the mask made of human flesh. The chainsaw itself doesn’t really get a lot of kills throughout the films, most of the victims get shot, stabbed and impaled rather than being chewed up with a chainsaw.

The Tall Man – Spheres
Technically it could be more accurate to call them villains in their own right but these little Swiss-army murder balls work at the behest of the tall man of the Phantasm series, regardless of containing the brains of his victims. The spheres are both ridiculous and insanely cool as far as horror weaponry goes, whizzing around and plunging into the skulls of their targets with an array of sharp, pointy (and often motorised) weaponry.

Pinhead – Hooks & Chains
Like Freddy, Pinhead has taken something horribly simple and given it a supernatural twist. His favourite method of killing his victims was to summon a swarm of hooks attached to chains and subsequently dig them into the person’s flesh from all angles. These chains slowly pull until the victim is pulled apart in a frankly unbelievable shower of gore.

The Candy Man – Hook Hand
The Candy Man is one of those villains you can sort of sympathise with, before he turned into a vicious murderer he was coated in honey and left out to be stung to death by bees. Despite this he’s way beyond vengeance killing and comes back to claim anyone who says his name and pretty much anyone else that gets in the way as well.

The bulk of his kills are brutal, slow and involve the nasty looking hook he has instead of a hand. There are also the bees… for some reason being unjustly killed by bees gives you the miraculous power of being able to unjustly kill other people with bees.

Someone give me some really good horror movie recs? Nothing rapeish please.

Would you pay $8,000 for Megan Fox's eyebrows?

0
0

A few minutes into her visit with plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, a 40-something brunette pulls up a photo of Megan Fox on her iPhone.

But it’s not Fox’s nose or cheekbones that the patient wants.

“This is how I want my eyebrows,” she says.

The doctor smiles politely. It is the third time in a week he’s been shown a picture of the actress.

“I assured her that it’s not really necessary [for me to study the portrait], because I have the shape of Fox’s brows and the direction of hair growth imprinted in my brain,” says Epstein, recalling the client’s consultation last month. “The look is incredibly popular.”

Just as Jennifer Aniston’s “The Rachel” was the most requested hairdo of the mid-1990s, in this boom time for cosmetic enhancements, “The Megan” is the must-have eyebrow of 2012.

Powder and pencil can only go so far. With the bushier look back in vogue — fuller arches are the signature style of everyone from Kim Kardashian to Kate Middleton — specialists such as Epstein have seen a 30 percent rise in the demand for eyebrow transplants.

“Over the last two years, it’s got really big,” adds Epstein, who performs between 12 and 15 eyebrow surgeries in New York and Miami every month. “A lot of women want [to copy] the Kardashians, but Megan Fox is far and away the favorite.”

The painstaking and pricey treatment, originally developed for burn and dog-bite victims and later used to remedy baldness in men, is being increasingly used by women for vanity purposes.

And, for a new look, women can expect to pay between $4,000 and $8,000 for the process, which on average takes three hours.

It’s an amazing look to re-create,” he says. Using more technical speak, he explains, “The hairs go straight up at the head of her eyebrow and then go into a more crosshatch pattern as they taper off laterally.”

Manhattan health administrator Jana Jordan, 28, is certainly pleased with her “Megan,” which involved about 400 hair follicles being transplanted from her scalp to her brows.

The self-confessed overplucker blames genetics for her fine hair and formerly patchy brows.

Nevertheless Jordan admits to “going crazy” with the tweezers in high school, when the highly manicured “Gwen Stefani look” was all the rage.

“As time went by, and fashions changed, I’d see people with thick eyebrows and think: ‘Oh my God, they’re so great!’ ” recalls the Hell’s Kitchen resident. “I’d hear girls in the office saying to each other, ‘You have the best eyebrows!’ — but nobody ever said that to me.
“I would constantly color them in, but I was desperate for a permanent solution.”

She considered an eyebrow transplant after being prescribed the eyelash enhancement drug Latisse, which worked wonders on her lashes but not her brows.

“I’m so glad I did it because it’s exactly my hair color and it looks so natural,” says

Jordan, who had the surgery at Epstein’s East 56th Street office in July 2011.

The procedure took about 2¹/₂ hours while Jordan was sedated with Valium and Ambien, and received Lidocaine shots to numb the pain.

“My main concern was taking hair from my scalp,” she admits. “If you take an inch of hair from my head to add to my eyebrows, that’s a big deal.” She didn’t have to worry. There was no scarring, and the hair on her head grew back.

After the surgery, she was concerned when her fuller eyebrows started to fall out. The doctor had warned her this would happen as the follicles became dormant.

But three months later, the hair started growing. And growing. Unlike natural eyebrows, transplanted brows have to be trimmed because they grow at the same rate as the hair on your head.

“My eyebrows grew and grew and, by six months, I had this old grandfather look going on!” says Jordan. “I was too scared to cut them, and it took a lot of courage to finally do it!”

Some ladies go to the salon for that.

“They need to be trimmed regularly with scissors,” explains Janna Morein, resident eyebrow specialist at L’Institut Sothys spa in Midtown. But other than that, says Morein, they are just like normal eyebrow hairs.

Another hair-restoration expert, Dr. Alan Bauman, believes the trend for fuller brows began with haute couture models on the runways about four years ago. It reached the mainstream more recently when A-list stars like Angelina Jolie and Fox started embracing the look.

“It’s definitely become more desirable,” says Bauman, who performs between three and five such procedures per month, about double the number he did in 2008.

Homemaker Kelly Krauss, 44, of Tewksbury, NJ — a reformed overplucker — cherishes her new, fuller eyebrows and follows a strict maintenance regime of combing and trimming in front of the mirror.

Before her transplants, she used to wear a baseball cap because she was so self-conscious about people seeing her face. “I had bald spots all across my brows and scar tissue from picking at the skin,” says Krauss, who longed to have distinctive eyebrows like actress Brooke Shields.

Krauss’ husband, Charlie, an attorney, worried how much it was affecting her confidence and, after searching on the Internet, encouraged her to go ahead with the transplant.

“Fixing my eyebrows was the best decision I ever made,” says Krauss, who paid about $5,000 for the procedure. “I love the fuller look, and people say it looks very natural.”

Similarly Vinny Sarro, a 41-year-old mom of four, is getting used to her brows being praised after having the treatment in March.

“My eyebrows started thinning when I was about 27, just like my mom and my sister,” she says. “I penciled them in and colored them and did permanent makeup, but I wanted to experiment with something new.”

She calls the $5,500 cost of the surgery “money well spent.”

“It took about an hour and an half per eyebrow, and didn’t hurt at all,” says Sarro, of New Fairfield, Conn. “Now you can’t tell the difference between the natural hairs in my eyebrows and the ones which were transplanted.”

Bauman also believes more women are being drawn to the procedure because the technology has advanced so much.

“We use a minimally invasive technique known as Neograft, where the follicles can be taken out and re-implanted in the skin without the need for stitches,” he explains. “It just feels like you got a sunburn for the day.

“The recovery period is much shorter and, though there is a period of six to 12 weeks where the hairs fall out and reappear as stubble, [as the follicles regenerate] well over 90 percent of the transplanted follicles will grow new hair within six to nine months of the surgery.”

But he offers a word of caution. “People might ask to look like certain celebrities, but we have to work with their hair type and face shape to make sure they get the best possible eyebrow design for each patient,” he says. “A lot of artistry goes into it, and it is very individual.”

There’s also the issue of plastic surgery begetting more plastic surgery.

“I am really happy with my brows right now,” says Jordan. “My boyfriend doesn’t understand, of course, but I can see myself going back to have more hairs transplanted in the future.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Reunion Part 3: Joe & Teresa Get Into A Screaming Match!!!

0
0

The Real Housewives Strippergate scandal left Teresa's relationship with her brother, Joe, in tatters -- and as tonight's reunion (the final installment) suggests, Giudice is apparently trying to force their parents, Giancinto and Antonia, to take sides.

"Every time they're together, she tells them this laundry list of terrible things about us," Gorga's wife, Melissa, tells Us Weekly. "They're more distant with us now. Joe [Gorga] feels like she's poisoned their brains. Teresa needs them, so they're standing by her."

Also standing by Giudice is her husband, Joe, who gets into an epic screaming match with his brother-in-law during Sunday's reunion show when he challenges his sister's claim that Gorga was "breaking Mommy and Daddy's heart" by steering clear of them.

"You've got to stop this, Teresa. If you stop, we can maybe be a family," Gorga tells his sister before she begs her husband to interject. "Shut the fuck up! What do you know about me, stupid?" Joe Giudice snaps back. Jacqueline then tries to step in, but is rebuffed by host Andy.

Though the Gorga and Giudice men were verbally attacking each other during Sunday's episode -- taped in September -- they stopped short of coming to blows. Explains Melissa Gorga to Us: "There were security guards everywhere!"

Teresa Stands By Her Story That Chris Cheated on Jacqueline!

The tension between former friends Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita reached a breaking point during part two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Reunion last week when Joe Giudice joined the h’wives on the couches.

After Joe explained his sketchy phone call in Napa, Andy asked Jacqueline to weigh in on the Giudice’s marriage. At first she refused, but after Teresa egged her on Jacqueline brought up the fact that in one of Teresa’s blogs, she insinuated that Chris cheated on Jacqueline.

In an interview with All About the Real Housewives, Teresa addresses Jacqueline’s claims at the reunion. When asked if Jac ever told her that Chris had cheated on her, Teresa reveals, ”Yes. She did. Chris was never allowed to go out with my husband unless they played poker at each other’s houses. I think they might have went out once the whole time I was friends with Jacqueline and I remember Joe telling me Jacqueline wouldn’t stop calling Chris. The only thing Chris is allowed to do is play cards.”

While Jacqueline allegedly keeps her hubby on tight leash, Teresa maintains that she would never impose such restrictions on Juicy Joe. “My husband is allowed to go out with the guys and that’s fine because I go out with the girls and we trust each other,” she explains.

And even though Teresa seemingly has no problem divulging her version of the truth, she admits that she’s not one to talk about other people’s relationships. “I don’t like talking about other people’s marriages but I’m not going to bite my tongue and say nothing while Jacqueline continues to talk about my marriage to strangers on Twitter,” she dishes. “This is not something I would make up because I’m not the type of person to do that.”

So according to Teresa, Chris cheated on Jacqueline. But is there any truth to what Jacqueline said about Teresa telling her that Joe allegedly also has a wandering eye?

Teresa insists, “I never told Jacqueline any of that. If I had proof of Joe cheated on me, I wouldn’t be with him. I’m just not made that way.”

Wendy Williams Says Teresa Should Leave The Real Housewives!

As far as we know, Teresa Giudice plans to stay on The Real Housewives of New Jersey until Andy Cohen himself tells her otherwise, but at least one person in the entertainment industry thinks it’s time for Tre to give reality TV a rest and leave the show.

So who is this outspoken person encouraging Teresa to leave RHoNJ behind?

It’s Wendy Williams! The fabulous talk show host was on Watch What Happens Live! last Sunday, and after watching part two of the RHoNJ Season 4 Reunion, Wendy admitted that she thinks Tre needs to say goodbye to Bravo.
She explains, “As a family woman, family things do not get accomplished on reality TV. If she really loves her brother, if she really wants to keep her marriage together and be a person of the community for her daughters who are now in school, she needs to leave reality TV alone.”

However, even Wendy acknowledged that Tre giving up her spot on Housewives is highly unlikely. “She's in love though with the spotlight — it’s seductive.”

Joe Giudice Accussed Of Hitting On Melissa!

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Joe Giudice hit on Melissa Gorga and fawns over her, which makes Teresa Giudice insecure about their relationship.

A “source” tells In Touch, “When Melissa started dating Teresa’s brother, Joe [Giudice] would flirt with her and check her out whenever Teresa wasn’t looking. Melissa always told me he was a ‘creep.’ He’s so disrespectful to Teresa, but she turns a blind eye.”

Apparently, Joe Giudice gets a kick out of flirting with his wife’s sister-in-law even though it makes Teresa insecure and that “her biggest fear is Joe will lose interest.” The source adds, “Joe got a kick out of flirting with Melissa. He doesn’t care — he thinks he’s an attractive guy. He always complimented the way [Melissa] sings. He told her she makes the most beautiful pregnant woman. He complimented her style, too.”

It sounds like someone is trying to stir the pot further.

Jay Z Warns Chris Brown

JAY-Z takes on the big brother, dad and bodyguard roles when it comes to RIHANNA.

He had a quiet word with CHRIS BROWN at one of his shows in New York last week and told the singer he would “finish him” if he ever hurts Rihanna again.

The Jigga Man invited them as a couple to the gig and is prepared to give Chris a second chance – providing he doesn’t step out of line.

A source said: “Jay-Z told Rihanna that if Chris is truly making her happy then to go for it.

“He invited them as a couple to his concert in New York and backstage he called Chris to one side and told him if he hurts Rihanna, whether emotionally or physically, it’s over for him.

“He’ll ensure it will result in the end of his career.”

Given how influential Jay-Z is, even Chris should work out it’s best staying onside with the rapper.

Then again, he’s not blessed with common sense, that lad.

Lady Gaga and Prince writing songs for 'The Great Gatsby'

Baz Luhrmann's recently-postponed "Great Gatsby" adaptation may be getting a modern-day infusion from two contemporary superstars.

Lady Gaga and Prince have both reportedly approached the "Moulin Rouge" director about contributing to the soundtrack for the upcoming F. Scott Fitzgerald adaptation - at least that's according to cast member Adelaide Clemens ("Silent Hill: Revelation 3D"), who seems to have spilled the beans in a recent interview with the Playlist.

"They have some new music that's going to be added to the film...Some pretty huge artists have approached Baz and are writing songs for the film, and I don't think Warner Bros. are going to turn down Prince and Lady Gaga knocking down your door," said Clemens - who plays the supporting role of Myrtle Wilson's (Isla Fisher) sister Catherine in the film - before adding, "I don't know if I'm allowed to say that."

Well, probably not, but thanks just the same. So will this be a collaborative track between Mother Monster and the reclusive Purple One? In theory it certainly seems like a good fit, but Clemens had the good sense not to reveal any further details.

Prince, of course, scored big time with his original contributions to Tim Burton's "Batman" soundtrack back in the late '80s, with his "Batdance" topping out at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. More recently, his "Song of the Heart" from the 2006 animated hit "Happy Feet" netted him a Golden Globe Award. As for Gaga, this would serve as her first original film soundtrack contribution.

If all pans out, this won't be the first instance of modern songs invading a Luhrmann period piece - his 2001 Best Picture nominee "Moulin Rouge" featured cover versions of several popular pop tunes including Madonna's "Material Girl" and "Like a Virgin," Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and The Police's "Roxanne."

Originally slated for an Oscar-friendly December 25 release, "The Great Gatsby" was recently pushed back to May 10, 2013. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the title character alongside Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke.

LADY GAGA ARTPOP ALBUM TO BE AN EDITH PIAF TRIBUTE RECORD?

Lady Gaga is reportedly planning a tribute to French singer Edith Piaf in 2013 to mark the death of the iconic star.

Gaga is said to be a huge fan of the 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien' star and is planning to purchase rights to her first ever filmed performance as part of a planned tribute next year. She is also rumoured to be in talks with EMI for permission to use nine of Piaf's songs.

The Sun newspaper reports that Gaga is likely to sample Piaf on tracks for her next album ARTPOP and use the footage on her next tour.

"Gaga sees a lot of herself in Edith. She, too, was a rebellious character in her era," says a source to the newspaper. "There’s an awful lot of red tape to get through — it’s a complicated process. But she’s hoping the Piaf estate want to ensure, with her help, that the music can be introduced to a new audience.

"Considering the size of Gaga’s global following, Edith’s music will gain a huge new fanbase."

More bizarre still, the newspaper also reports that Gaga is planning on purchasing personal items from Piaf's estate - including toenail clippings. The US star is said to be investing in her discarded clippings among a collection of clothes, shoes, perfume bottles and private letters.

Lady Gaga is currently still touring her Born This Way ball shows across the world, although the strain of the live performances appears to be taking its toll on the star. The singer was seen vomiting on stage earlier this month - so she might want to take a little time out before embarking on another tour, Edith Piaf tribute or otherwise.

Elton plans a 'party to end all parties' with performances by Lady Gaga and Cher for husband David's 50th

Sir Elton John is planning an extraordinary four-day bash to celebrate his partner David Furnish's 50th birthday.

Elton, 65, is billing the lavish do in Los Angeles as 'the party to end all parties' and guests are expected to fly in from all over the world.

Elton will perform and Lady Gaga, the Scissor Sisters, Cher and Cirque du Soleil will also appear at the party's various venues.

Guests including David and Victoria Beckham and Elizabeth Hurley have been invited to the extravaganza, which has taken six months to plan.

Those who have flown in will be put up at Elton's expense at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, where rooms start at £310 a night.

The celebrations for David – whom Elton insists should be referred to as his husband after their civil ceremony in 2005 – kick off on Wednesday, October 24 at the couple's £4 million new home in the Hollywood Hills.

The first night will take the form of a housewarming party for the couple's mansion, which has undergone a multi-million-pound renovation and includes a nursery for their son Zachary, who will celebrate his second birthday on Christmas Day.

The following day is David's birthday and dinner will be laid on for 200 guests in the ballroom of the 112-year-old Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Those guests who are still standing on Friday night will continue the celebrations at nightclub Greystone Manor, where Cher will perform.

The party will round off on Saturday when guests will be driven 300 miles to Las Vegas to see Elton's Million Dollar Piano show at Caesars Palace.

'Elton wants this to be the party to end all parties,' said a friend. 'Money is no object.'

His own 50th birthday was a study in excess, with the host turning up in an elaborate Louis XIV-style costume complete with 15ft silk train and a towering wig. The hairpiece was so tall he had to be driven to the venue in the back of a lorry.

Libel trial of Britney Spears' former manager to focus on her meltdown

LOS ANGELES – Britney Spears' darkest days are about to be revisited in a Los Angeles courtroom, but not by the resurgent pop singer.

Instead jurors will begin hearing testimony next week on claims by Spears' former manager that he was vilified and unfairly blamed for the singer's public meltdown more than four years ago. Spears' parents are defendants and will likely testify, but the panel won't hear directly from the Grammy winner.

Former Spears confidante Sam Lutfi is seeking millions of dollars from Spears and her family, claiming her mother's book lied about him drugging and isolating the pop superstar. He is also seeking a portion of the singer's profits, claiming he was a key player in her 2007 album "Blackout" and had the right to serve as her manager for years.

Instead, the singer spent much of that time recovering under a court-ordered conservatorship, with her father and fiance continuing to exert control over her personal life. It is highly unlikely the star will be a witness during the trial, although a judge has said she will consider a request by Lutfi's attorney to call Spears as a witness mid-trial if necessary.

A probate judge overseeing Spears' conservatorship has ruled that the singer's caretakers should not allow her to testify "under any circumstances." Lutfi's attorney has cited the singer's record tour and her current role as a judge on Fox's TV singing competition "The X Factor" as reasons for why the singer should testify, but he may have to settle for the testimony of Spears' divorced parents, father Jamie Spears and mother Lynne Spears.

Jury selection began Friday and will continue on Tuesday, with opening statements expected later in the week.

The case is the culmination of years of acrimony between Lutfi and Spears' family and conservators, who successfully obtained a restraining order against him to keep him from contacting the singer or trying to intervene in her life. The order has expired, but conservatorship attorneys are seeking repayment for more than $93,000 in legal fees -- a judgment Lutfi is appealing.

Lutfi sued in February 2009, roughly a year after Spears was hospitalized and placed under the conservatorship to take control of her health and finances. The move by Jamie Spears came after months of erratic behavior by his daughter, including shaving her head, speaking in a British accent and other bizarre incidents that also led to her losing custody of her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Lutfi was a constant presence around Spears during the tumultuous period. In his court case he maintains that he was trying to help her, though her parents paint a more sinister picture. They say Lutfi drugged and isolated their daughter -- cutting her phone line and hiding her cellphones -- and used the paparazzi as "henchmen."

Many of the claims were included in court filings used to obtain the conservatorship, but Lynne Spears included them in her 2008 book "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World." Lutfi is suing for libel and defamation based on three chapters in the book that describe him as a "general" to the paparazzi and portray him as a man trying to manipulate not only the singer, but her mother.

Lutfi claims he was trying to aid Spears' career and help her regain custody of her children. The book's allegations have caused him to be "subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn," his lawsuit states.

Lutfi's attorney, Joseph Schleimer, and attorneys for the Spears family declined comment on the trial, which may last nearly three weeks.

Lynne Spears' attorney, Stephen Rohde, has noted in pretrial hearings that the burden is on Lutfi to prove that the statements in the book are untrue and that his client knew they were false.

A judge has also limited the case against Jamie Spears, who Lutfi accuses of hitting him in the chest at the singer's house shortly before the conservatorship's establishment. Lutfi is no longer entitled to recoup damages for emotional distress if a jury finds that a battery occurred.
