Morgan stopped by "Popcorn with Peter Travers" to talk The Walking Dead

The cast was hostile towards him at first: "Me coming in initially was a shock to the system, not noly for the show but for some of the castmates who are so close to each other, and they're gonna lose one or two of their own." Later when asked if they blamed him, he said "Yeah, it's not the writers, or the creators of the comic, it was somehow put on me, that I was the bad guy, the shithead as it were. And it took a bit of time of me being on set and joking around in between takes, but it worked out great and I'm really close with them now and I've been accepted to be part of the family. For the most part."

He thinks Negan talks too much: "My original script (season 6 finale) was just a 17 page monologue. They didn't send me the whole script, it was literally 17 pages of Negan talking. And I was like 'Oh my God, this has gotta get better.' And I'll be damned, I came back to do season 7 and every script, if Negan's in it he's doing all the talking...Negan uses this world as his stage and Shakespearean is a very apt term for him because he does take center stage and loves being the center of attention and so his monologues, a lot of them are him putting on a show for Rick and the survivors. I think behind closed doors hopefully he's a little bit quieter but certainly when he's trying to make a point he belabors that into some kind of monologue or show-stopping routine. As an actor who gets the script at the last second I'd prefer he toned it down word wise. What happened to 'it's all in the eyes'?! You know how many times I tell my writers I don't need it to be 20 pages of monologue! But I think that's part of the joy of this character. This verbal diarrhea he has. It's all going somewhere, you just have to pay attention."

Hilarie is his wife whether they're married or not, deal with it:"I'm not charming in real life. I'm moody. Horrible. All those things. My wife will tell you that there is no charm, no. It's miserable." And later: "I've gotten some mail with sexual undertones. Gag me, spank me, bring Lucille. It's like, whoa. It's a lot, man! It's a special pile I keep away from my wife."

Says if he wanted people to get to know his work, the top 3 he'd recommend are: Texas Killing Fields, The Watchmen, and Grey's Anatomy.

#DumpStarWars: ‘Rogue One’ Star Riz Ahmed Says It's Not "Anti-Trump"

Apparently, there's a #DumpStarWars hashtag trending on Twitter, and Trump supporters are telling people to boycott the movie because it's sending an Anti-Trump message. (K, have they never watched a Star Wars movie in their life?)

“Rogue One” actor Riz Ahmed said the filmmakers didn’t inject anti-Donald Trump positions or any other political messages into the new “Star Wars” movie, because doing so would be “petty and small-minded.”

“It is absolutely to be expected that people will project their anxieties and concerns … onto art. It’s also the role of art to reflect the times we live in. But this film wasn’t made to speak to this particular moment. This is a film that was written years ago, that was filmed over a year-and-a-half ago,” the British actor and “The Night Of” star continued.

He also added that he hopes the movie continues to resonate over time and that a film as big as Star Wars will bring people together instead of continuing to divide them.

The #DumpStarWars hashtag started after a Trump supporter saw "Rogue One" writers Chris Weitz and Gary Whittas change their Twitter avatars to a logo of the Rebel Alliance with a safety pin along with tweets like this from Chris Weitz (which is now deleted but I found a screenshot):

Joseph played iconic villain Stefano DiMera.

Died Wednesday at the age of 87, following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Also was in, "Diary of a Mad Housewife,""Jaws II,""Shaft's Big Score" and "Heat."

He also was on The Bold & The Beautiful.

He is survived by a wife, a son, a step daughter, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The Playlist published a preview of 2017 films and let's just say they didn't hold back in their description of Roman Polanski's latest, Based on a True Story:

Director: Roman Polanski (“Chinatown”)
Cast: Eva Green, Emmanuelle Seigner
Synopsis: A writer is put in danger by an obsessive woman
What You Need To Know: As well as once sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, Roman Polanski is also a filmmaker, though it’s been a while since he made anything really good —“The Ghost Writer” was beloved by some but we found it pretty turgid, “Carnage” never escaped its stage roots, and “Venus In Fur” was pretty awful and disappeared basically without a trace. The director, who once sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl, has been away for four years, but he returns in 2017 with this adaptation of a novel by author Delphine de Vignan, which stars his partner Emmanuelle Seigner and the great Eva Green. It’s the kind of psychological thriller that Polanski, who once sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl, does best, and intriguingly he’s teamed up with non sex-criminal Olivier Assayas, who co-wrote the script with the convicted statutory rapist.
Release Date: Filmed in November, so probably not at Cannes
