Michael Lohan: "I'll Hire A Good Lawyer for Lindsay" (you in danger, girl)
Michael Lohan is taking the judge in Lindsay Lohan's criminal case to heart ... he agrees Mark Heller is a dummy on the subject of California law ... and he wants to foot the bill for a competent attorney.
Michael tells TMZ ... He's already lined up a California criminal defense lawyer who will take the case and they've already negotiated a fee ... a fee that Michael will pay.
Michael is ballistic over Mark Heller, telling us,"This guy is a loser and will drag her down. (not down, but hopefully to jail!) I already started to pray to God that Lindsay fires him before it's too late."
Michael adds, "Any professional, respectable, or sure-footed lawyer would never conduct himself in this matter."
Parting shot: "This guy has 2 left feet that keep leading him into a wall."
lol when Michael Lohan is offering to foot the bill, even with a new child support check to be responsible for....girlllll you know you're in trouble.
Another ABC Show gets mauled by the bear
Looks like ABC has removed Zero Hour from the schedule on their press site next Thursday at 8pm , and as of now no word on what will replace it. But after three low-rated episodes, including last night's 1.0 adults 18-49 rating, Zero Hour getting cancelled after three episodes shouldn't surprise anyone.
UPDATED: Shark Tank repeats will air the next two Thursdays at 8pm before Celebrity Wife Swap takes over the slot from March 21-May 2. Beginning May 9, Wipeout will air there.

3 episodes was my prediction of how long this flop would last, how about you all. Any other shows you just waiting to die it's painful cancellation bear death?

Frank Ocean Makes Fashion Week Debut At Christian Dior Fall/Winter Show
Hit Songs Meant For Other Singers
Last week, Nicole Scherzinger revealed in an interview that she had the opportunity to record "We Found Love," the Calvin Harris-produced dance smash that became the biggest hit of Rihanna's thriving career, but let the chance slip through her fingers. "I passed on 'We Found Love,'" Scherzinger admitted to Notion Magazine. "I've got the demo of that song and I was busy at the time."
Surprisingly, this occurrence is not at all uncommon in the music world: the past half-century is littered with examples of iconic pop songs that were originally intended for someone else to perform. Imagine a world in which Britney Spears is singing "Umbrella," Hilary Duff scored a monster hit with "Since U Been Gone" and Paris Hilton asked "Don't Cha" instead of Scherzinger's old group, the Pussycat Dolls. Strange to consider, isn't it? But some of these missed opportunities were pretty close to becoming reality.
"Rock Your Body"
Turned Down By: Michael Jackson
Recorded By: Justin Timberlake
Imagine, if you will, that Michael Jackson's final album was comprised of Neptunes-produced bangers like "Rock Your Body" instead of the uneven fare of 1999's "Invincible." And imagine that Justin Timberlake's solo debut was not blessed with tracks like this ubiquitous dance-starter. MJ passed on "Rock Your Body," and a number of other "Justified" songs, before the tracks went to JT, sending us into an alternate pop universe that still resonates today.
"Since U Been Gone"
Turned Down By: Pink, Hilary Duff
Recorded By: Kelly Clarkson
Dr. Luke and Max Martin originally teamed up to give P!nk another hit, and when she reportedly turned it down, they reached out to Hilary Duff. But the story goes that Clive Davis convinced the producers to give the song to Clarkson, who fashioned it into the centerpiece of her "Breakaway" and helped it sell 2.6 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"How Will I Know"
Turned Down By: Janet Jackson
Recorded By: Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston's No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 stands as one of the artist's most iconic tracks -- but it could have sounded a lot different with Janet Jackson at the helm. Songwriters George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam reportedly approached Janet's management team with a demo, but a swift decline forced them to look elsewhere. Thanks in large part to Clive Davis, Houston was given the track and turned it into a behemoth.
"Thinkin Bout You"
First Recorded By: Frank OceanFamously Recorded By: Bridget Kelly
Ocean's record of the year Grammy nominee was originally written for Roc Nation artist Bridget Kelly, but in 2011, Ocean leaked his own demo of the track on his Tumblr page. Fast-forward one year, and the vulnerable slow jam is featured on both Kelly's "Every Girl" EP (under the title "Thinking About Forever") and Ocean's best-selling "Channel Orange" LP. Both versions are worth hearing, but Ocean's personal cut still lingers with fans, years after that Tumblr post.
"Call Me"
Turned Down By: Stevie Nicks
Recorded By: Blondie
Disco producer Giorgio Moroder originally asked Fleetwood Mac's lead songstress to help compose lyrics and deliver vocals for his latest dance confection, but when contractual issues prevented the collaboration from happening, Moroder turned to Debbie Harry, who co-wrote "Call Me." Nicks scored a huge hit two years later with "Edge of Seventeen," but could she have guided "Call Me" to its No. 1 spot on the Hot 100, as Blondie did?

Suits Season 2 Report Card: A
With the Suits Season 2 finale airing last week, it's time to assess the past 16 episodes of this USA Network smash.
What worked? What failed? What do we hope to see next year? Read on for our latest TV Fanatic Report Card and then grade the season for yourself...
Best Episode: I still maintain that "Break Point" and "Sucker Punch" were the best episodes from the front half of the season, but "He's Back" was a pretty definitive episode in the back half. Both Donna and Louis got to take a shot at Hardman in retaliation and the vengeance was sweet.
Best Rivalry: Katrina and Louis in "Zane vs. Zane". I have to give Katrina credit, she really had Louis running for the hills. But leave it to him to exact a decisive comeback in the form of his face photoshopped on to famous Presidents. Well played, sir, well played.
Relationship in Need of Most Immediate Repair: The one between Jessica and Harvey. They took a real hit throughout this entire season. From the minute Hardman reappeared, they were fighting a battle that challenged the strength of their relationship and the firm. Unfortunately, that relationship is still frayed. I believe in order for the firm to get back on track, Jessica and Harvey need back on the same page first.
Season 3 Predictions: Rachel will continue to pursue attending law school because she wants to become a lawyer so badly. Now that she has to give up on Harvard, it only makes sense she starts looking somewhere local.
The relationship between Mike and Rachel will include some road bumps despite, and maybe because of, the angry sex they engaged in during the finale. Jessica burned many bridges in pursuit of that merger, which she will also have to rectify. Similar complications and reconciliation await Harvey and Mike as well
Overall Grade: A
Source
I just caught up and watched the season finale and I need to DISCUSS. What were your thoughts on this season? On the finale? I don't think I can stand Mike anymore, and this Mike/Rachel plot drives me crazy, but I'm loving everyone else. I'm a little bored of these half-assed romantic plots, though. My queen welcomes you in.
Is there really no Suits tag? Really?

IT'S SOAP NEWS FRIDAY!!!
All My Children and One Life to Live Cast Celebrate Online Revival with Sexy Photo Shoot!
After over 40 seasons on daytime television, both soap operas had been canceled in the past two years due to declining viewership. However, the shows have now been given a second chance thanks to Prospect Park, now being produced for The Online Network (TOLN) to be available on iTunes, Hulu and Hulu Plus in April.
"It's an emotional day," Kassie Wesley DePaiva (Blair Cramer) said of getting back together with her co-stars for the photo shoot. "The last time we got together for a press junket for 'One Life to Live,' we were saying goodbye to it. Today we're celebrating a rebirth and it's really amazing."
The news this January that the shows were being revived after their recent cancellations was not only a pleasant shock to fans but also to the shows' actors.
"We did a soap opera event a couple of months ago and someone said, 'When's 'One Life to Live' coming back, and I said, 'Look: It's never coming back!'" One Life to Live actor Tuc Watkins (David Vickers Buchanan) recounted. "...[But] here we are. We're back together again and we get to move into the future together."
Although the appetite for soap operas has decreased due to the overwhelming emergence of reality television, the shows' actors are confident that their loyal viewers will continue following their shows on the online platform.
"I think the fans never left," said All My Children actor Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater). "They enjoyed the way we told stories back then, and I got a feeling this might be even better."
While the actual nominees won't be revealed until May 1, the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the Drama Performer categories for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Peer judges viewed clips of each entrant, then selected their top ten performer choices in each category, the results of which were then tabulated by an independent accounting firm. (There are 11 ladies in the Lead Actress category due to a tie.) Those who received the highest number of votes now advance to the Blue Ribbon screening round, which will determine both the nominees and the winners. This year, the Younger Actor and Younger Actress categories, for performers under the age of 25, only had 9 submissions each, so there was no pre-nomination round necessary.

The stars of Days of our Lives answering some fan questions and talking about the show and some of their personal lives.
This week's Soap Opera Digest features an article about Nick.
Nick blackmails Will into signing away his rights to the baby, but Sonny tells Will that he thinks Nick is really doing this because Will is gay.
Will confronts Nick, who indirectly confirms Will's suspicions. Blake Berris explains that Will is even more concerned that he's signed away his baby to someone who can be a jerk.
Nick tells Gabi he wants to speed up their plans to get married, and he also tells her about his time in prison, but he doesn't open up completely. Berris tells SOD that he thinks Nick is "somewhat unbalanced".
Meanwhile, Hope and Eric visit a man in prison named Vargas. They want to include him in an outreach program Eric is doing, but they don't realize that Vargas has ties to Nick...
The multi-talented Cady McClain (Dixie Martin) of All My Children posted a brand new blog today on her website after stepping into the new production offices of Prospect Park’s online revival of the series! McClain shares her enthusiasm and makes some very valid points as we move soaps from television to the Internet!
Here is what Cady posted: “First off, a million ‘thank you’s’ to all the folks who have written to me either here on my site or on Facebook or Twitter to tell me how happy and excited they are about All My Children and One Life to Live being brought back from the dead (in pure soap opera style) only to live again on the Internet.
It was thrilling to walk into the production offices today and see so many faces that I have known from behind the scenes. One person said to me, “It’s like coming home” (and I don’t mean like the movie but I had to link to it because it’s just so awesome). Both my fiancee Jon (yeah, that guy I’m cuddling) and I know how meaningful soaps can be – we met on the set of As the World Turns! Now I can’t imagine my life without him. (Yep, I’m going to marry that man!)
People who work in daytime are a special lot. It’s hard for me to put my finger on it, but suffice it to say, we work hard, laugh hard, and love hard! Just like you, we are fans of “the stories,” and feel deeply for the characters who act them out. (I get very emotional when I see David Canary, for example). By sharing these stories with you, the audience, I feel like we have become one big, crazy family. (Just when you thought you’d got out…)
And to answer your question, “Where can I watch them?” I know for a fact you will be able to see them on HULU and iTunes sometime this spring. As much we are all so excited, some people are feeling a little freaked out about the soaps being on the Internet. A few people have asked me “How am I going to watch them NOW? Why aren’t they on TV? Argh!” This is again, where family comes in.
Do you remember when your aunt or grandma or mom called you into the living room to look at her soap opera on the TV, screaming, “OH MY GOD YOU’VE GOT TO SEE THIS” and that moment when you frantically queried, “What’s happening? Who is that? TELL ME EVERYTHING!” Well the same thing is going to happen, only now it might be in reverse. Your niece or daughter, or grand daughter might now be the one hollering, “OMG! You’ve got to see this!” while pulling out her laptop, tablet, or smart phone. It’s not so different: it’s still a generational connection that is going to occur, it’s just coming to you via a different mechanism.
Maybe you are one of those people who are far more web savvy and I say to you, “Bravo! Tell me everything!” I hear you can get something that will hook the Internet up to your TV (one is called Apple TV) so if you NEED to watch it right away through your TV SCREEN, then you will be able to. THAT SAID, the shows WILL be on cable TV after they have showed on the Internet for awhile. but if you want to be the first to see it… all you need is an internet connection. Yep, I hear it will be FREE.
There are also a lot of people who are talking about certain changes they have heard about and are freaked out by. I would ask you to keep an open mind. One of the great things about the Internet (and there are many IMHO) is the fact that there is so much freedom. With that freedom comes a lot of creative opportunity and new choices that the production team can make that they never were allowed to before. Personally, I think that’s exciting! The possibilities are endless!
Please remember, Agnes Nixon is working on every single story and element. Since she built both OLTL and AMC, I would encourage you to trust in Agnes and go along for the ride! I mean, c’mon… hasn’t she done pretty great so far?
Finally: Isn’t it just AMAZING that these shows are going to get a chance to continue? I am honored to be a part of this incredible moment in time. #soexcited”
In a wonderful video segment with the Associated Press, Genie Francis talks about her return to General Hospital as Laura for the shows 50th anniversary! But what we found most interesting and intriguing was how Genie explained how 35 years ago Gloria Monty came in as GH’s executive producer and changed the face of daytime and moved the show from 45 minutes to an hour, and within that resuscitated the show.
Now in 2013, Francis gives kudos to the current GH executive producer, Frank Valentini, for his passion, vision, and increasing the viewership, while being able to take General Hospital into the next phase of its historic run.
Great news confirmed today via Jordi Vilasuso’s (Griffin, AMC) Paos Revolution Facebook page. Long time All My Children favorite Ray MacDonnell, is on his way to Prospect Park’s online reboot as Dr. Joe Martin!
According to the Paos Revolution post, “We are happy to confirm Michael E. Knight’s comment he made about Ray MacDonnell in a recent interview- he will indeed be stopping by AMC as our lovable Dr. Joe Martin.”
While “stopping by” would indicate that Ray may just make a guest appearance and not be on the soap long or short term, it is still nice to know that Pine Valley’s permanent fixture, Dr. Joe Martin is still there and part of the Martin Clan.
Jill Larson has posted a very special and heartfelt message to her fans and followers on her facebook page where she shares some of her personal thoughts and excitement at seeing that production of new episodes of All My Children is just a few days away. Larson, who plays Opal Gardner, related that the whole experience of seeing the new studio, the sets being built, seeing all friends from the crew and production associates, and new dressing rooms, really hit home that this is really happening!
Here is Jill’s post: “I just want to share with all of you some of my thoughts and experiences from the last few days. There is something quite miraculous about this whole thing. Some of you have likened it to the resurrections of characters who have been killed off and it’s true. But whereas my job as an actor was to feign amazement for something that is rather hard to believe in in real life, this experience is a gradual realization that this is indeed happening…in real life!
Like several people I’ve talked with since we started hearing about this project, we’ve wondered what it could be like… it’s for the internet, afterall, we associate the internet with homemade videos and stuff made on a shoestring, how will this be for our shows, will they look anything like what we saw when they were on a broadcast network? There is a certain trepidation and of course risk when trying something completely new.
But when I walked into the new studio on Thursday I knew right away that something big was happening, something I could recognize as professional quality, even though it’s all still just being built. But there are real dressing rooms, real offices, a REAL studio floor with sets and a props room, set decorators, it hit me THIS IS REAL, this will happen and it will be good!
THEN I started seeing so many familiar faces, people we were forced to leave behind when we moved to LA. I thought of our last night in NY, our “party” if you could call it that, saying goodbye to people we’d worked with for decades, feeling guilty and worried for them and their families as they stayed behind without work, figuring we’d never be together again, possibly never even see them again. And then, there they were! Howie and Penny and Fritz and Sonya, Jason and Brenden, Maggie and Jim. And our directors, Steven and Conal, Angela and Chris, and of course our visionary leaders, Ginger Smith and Agnes. We all just kept looking at each other saying, “I can’t believe this is happening!”
Going to LA was presented as a last desperate attempt to save our show. It required sacrifice, eliminating, deprivation and hardship. This feels like a true New Beginning, in true soap opera style. It feels exciting, expansive and full of possibility. It feels like a miracle!! -Jill”
Daytime Emmy winner, Eden Riegel who is set to return to All My Children for a guest arc as Bianca Montgomery took to Twitter today to share her enthusiasm with the fans on reprising her role for Prospect Park’s reboot of the series!
Riegel tweeted, “Thank you all for the outpouring of support today. I am thrilled to be returning as Bianca! So I guess I better follow my… ahem… daughter: @JordanLanePrice Gabby, you’re still to young for twitter. I hope.”
General Hospital fans have witnessed some fantastic scenes between MIA father Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) and his daughter Maxie (Kirsten Storms) on recent episodes of the ABC soap opera! The emotions were high as Maxie struggled to open to her father, who had not been present most of her life, while Frisco felt the guilt of never having been there for his daughter! Finally, Maxie entrusts Frisco with the news of her baby drama, and the truth that she lost Dante and Lulu’s baby, and is now having her and Spinelli’s baby. All the while, Britt has been blackmailing Maxie with her secret in order to get Maxie to help destroy Sabrina’s nursing career! Once Frisco hears the details he vows to fix this for Maxie and stand by her. It was hard not to notice the deep connection that played out between these two performers.
Well now in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Jack Wagner reveals that his real life experience being reunited with his daughter Kerry, who went looking for her biological parents, had made an impact in those Frisco and Maxie scenes.
Wagner related, “I have to say after my daughter having found me and now doing this scene work with Kirsten Storms, I was literally holding back tears – even in rehearsal. I can’t tell you the raw emotion it brought up in me, dealing with this daughter and the fact that I haven’t been present in her life. It was so deep and powerful that I couldn’t have anticipated it. I just want to grab her and put my arms around her. I continually got the note, ‘Hey, you’re not the one who’s supposed to be crying! (Laughs)’ Talk about art imitating life, I just lived this!”
Here is a bit of intriguing casting news right from Opal Gardner herself, Jill Larson! The All My Children star not only tweeted, but also posted on her facebook page that CBS The Price is Right’s first ever male model contest winner, Rob Wilson has joined Prospect Park’s revival of the series as Opal’s son, Petey Cortlandt!
Larson tweeted “Are you following my ‘son’ “Petey?” @MrRobertScott #AMC“, and then on her facebook page she wrote, “Here’s my ‘son’ “Petey” played by Rob Wilson.”
As AMC fans know, Daniel Kennedy was the last actor to play the role of Petey Cortlandt. As far as Wilson, last October he won the nearly two month search going up against other male hopefuls seeking the job on the number one CBS Daytime game show for their groundbreaking move to have a first hot male model, when for decades that role was handled only by beautiful women.
On this morning’s episode of ABC’s talk show, The View, Susan Lucci was a special guest promoting her role in Devious Maids, and the possibility of her returning to Prospect Park’s All My Children as the iconic Erica Kane!
On the possibility of a return to Pine Valley, Lucci said, “I so hope that I can return. I want with all my heart to return to All My Children. I just don’t know the answer yet, but what I do know is that all of us all of us are working so hard to make that happen. I really want to. My heart is certainly with Agnes Nixon, and it’s going to be wonderful. I want you all to watch because it’s going to be great.”
Susan also related her disappointment and heartache of AMC being canceled in the first place: “It was emotional and it took me by surprise. It was a mourning process. It would be similar to losing someone you love. I lost a family, the All My Children family, and the wonderful part of Erica Kane.”
So, here we go! Some more very cool video coming out of Stamford Connecticut, the new home to Pine Valley! This time the clip is from Paos Revolution’s and All My Children star, Jordi Vilasuso who is returning to the show as Dr. Griffin Castillo! Well, at least we hope he is still a doctor!
Jordi took this video perusing the set-up and the building of the new dressing rooms for the Prospect Park reboot of AMC, which starts with signage that says, ” Welcome (Back) All My Children!” Then, Jordi shows us dressing room #8 which will be his, and he ends his little tour with, “I love being back on All My Children!”
All My Children has cast veteran actor Ryan Bittle in the contract role of JR Chandler. Bittle replaces Jacob Young, who is currently appearing on CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” as Rick Forrester.
Bittle first broke out into television in 1994, when he starred in the teen series “Sweet Valley High.” He portrayed Todd Wilkins on the popular series. Bittle’s other television credits include recent appearances in “Shameless,” “The New Normal” and “Bones.”
In a bit of irony, Bittle appeared on “AMC” in 2010 in the role of “Logan.” He will return to the series when it becomes available on Hulu and iTunes later this spring.
Eric Nelsen has been cast as an aged AJ Chandler, son of JR Chandler (now played by Ryan Bittle) and Babe Chandler. Nelsen, who according to his IMDb was originally cast as Eric van der Woodsen on the CW’s “Gossip Girl” before studio execs felt he was too young for the part, will be tackling the Pine Valley High School teen scene when he debuts on the series later this spring.
The actor appeared in 2006 as Kevin Ross Marler on CBS’ “Guiding Light.” He will star along side Liam Neeson in the upcoming film “A Walk Among Tombstones.” He appeared in episodes of the popular teen sitcom “iCarly” and more recently in the defunct CBS primetime series “NYC 22.”
Denyse Tontz has been cast in the contract role of Miranda Montgomery, Bianca’s (Eden Riegel) now aged daughter. It was previously reported that Jordan Lane Price had been cast in the role, but it looks like Price will be portraying the role of a new character by the name of Celia Fitzgerald instead.
Tontz has appeared in a number of teen centric series including “Pair of Kings,” “Big Time Rush,” and “Shake It Up!“
Sal Stowers (short for Saleisha Stowers) has been cast in the role of Cassandra Foster, the adopted daughter of Angela Hubbard (Debbi Morgan), who the good doctor found abandoned in a dumpster during her run on ABC’s “The City” back in the mid-1990′s. The character returned as an 18 year-old seeking comfort from mommy dearest in 2008 as portrayed by Yaya DaCosta.
Stowers appeared as herself on “America’s Next Top Model.” She most recently appeared in episodes of “New Girl” and “The Exes.”
He wooed the ladies on “General Hospital,” and now Ingo Rademacher is set to woo America as a contestant on the 16th season of “Dancing With The Stars.” Paired with dancer Kym Johnson, Rademacher will be competing against a very diverse cast, including country star Wynonna Judd, “American Idol” alum Kellie Pickler, actress Zendayz Coleman, comedian Andy Dick, Olympic skater Dorothy Hamill, comedian D.L. Hughley, football player Jacoby Jones, boxer Victor Ortiz, Olympic gymnast Alexandra Raisman, and reality star Lisa Vanderpump.
As an experienced kayaker, triathlete and waterman, Rademacher should have no problem holding his own in the intense dance competition, but should he need any pointers, he won’t have to look far: Several of his daytime counterparts, including “GH”‘s Kelly Monaco, “Days Of Our Lives’” Lisa Rinna, and “All My Children’s” Susan Lucci, Cameron Mathison and J.R. Martinez, have also twirled across the stage with the hopes of winning the coveted mirror ball trophy.
“All My Children’s” Pine Valley has been a bit of ghost town since the show left the air back in 2011, but not any more: Monday, February 25 marked the first day that past and new actors alike stepped into TOLN’s version of the legendary soap’s fictional town in Stamford, Connecticut — and judging by actor tweets, it seems the first week of taping is going well!
“It was a bright, sunny day in Pine Valley today, even for Dr. D!” joked Vincent Irizarry, who has reprised his role as David.
Added Eric Nelson, who’s playing a SORASed AJ: “Filming today was amazing… I have the best cast and crew ever!”
Cady McClain, who has returned as Dixie, also had a memorable first day back, not only because of the welcome gift baskets Prospect Park surprised the cast with, but also because, as she tweeted, it was a “history making day, like when serial drama went from radio to TV.”
“[It was] a historic first day of filming,” added AMC’s supervising producer, Sonia Blangiardo. “[We] hope to make Agnes [Nixon, show creator] proud!”
Actor Daniel Covin has been cast in the recurring role of Hunter on TOLN‘s “All My Children.” News of Covin’s signing came about after the actor tweeted, “Hyped to let you know I just booked the role of Hunter on the all new #AllMyChildren!” The actor added, “I start filming on Thursday!”
In a recent audition script, Hunter is described by “Charlotte” (now known as Miranda Montgomery) as being the Romeo of Pine Valley High School when it comes to the ladies. “You know, most girls would’ve jumped at the chance to be with me no matter who else was there.” Miranda’s response was, “I’m not most girls.”
Look for Hunter to interact with Miranda (Denyse Tontz) and AJ Chandler (Eric Nelsen) as part of the Pine Valley High School teen scene when “AMC” debuts this spring exclusively on Hulu.
As had been widely expected, Rick Springfield is returning to ABC’s “General Hospital” just as the soap gets ready to hit the half century mark. According to People Magazine, Springfield, who debuted as Dr. Noah Drake on “GH” in 1981 before launching himself into superstardom starting with the debut of hit single “Jessie’s Girl,” will reprise his role over the course of several episodes in April.
“He lost his wife and became a drunk and regretted all these terrible, sinful ways and then cleaned his act up when he almost died from the alcohol,” said Springfield in reference to how his character has evolved. “Now he disappears all the time, going to Doctors Without Borders and going around the world helping people. I guess he’s gone from a drunk to being incredibly altruistic. I’m not nearly as altruistic as Noah Drake is.”
In addition to Springfield’s return, People is reporting that the actor’s son, Liam Springthorpe, will also make an appearance on “GH” as a cop. While talking to People, Springthorpe said, “I think it makes it much more pleasing and applicable for me because I think at least for me personally, I have always tried to keep a bit of distance from … my father’s path, and respectfully so.” He added, “I think this is a really good way to kind of go about getting my foot in the door, meanwhile being comfortable in the process.” Like his father, Springthrope has his own band.
Springfield and Springthorpe are not expected to share scenes with one another, according to People.
Leigh McCloskey is returning to CBS Daytime‘s “The Young and the Restless.” The actor was previously on the daytime soap as Dr. Kurt Costner, involved in a love triangle with Hope (Signy Coleman) and Ashley (then Shari Shattuck) back in 1997. McCloskey is reprising this role.
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that McCloskey is set to air on “Y&R” March 6. Many fans remember him from his role as Damian on ABC’s “General Hospital,” as well as his double stint on NBC’s “Santa Barbara” as Dr. Zach Kelton and Ethan Asher.
Bonnie Franklin, the actress best known for her starring role on the classic sitcom ONE DAY AT A TIME, but known to soap fans for a recent stint on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Sister Celeste, died this morning at the age of 69 from complications from pancreatic cancer.
Franklin's career began when she was nine years old on the COLGATE COMEDY HOUR, and spanned stage and screens both big and small over the years.
Robert Adamson (Noah, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) has just directed a music video for one of his HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS co-stars, Brittany Underwood (Langston, ONE LIFE TO LIVE)
The song is called "Flow," which Underwood says "is about letting it go. You have all this stress in your life, and just learn that it's going to be okay. I wrote it with Matthew Gerrard, who did "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson and "She's No You" by Jesse McCartney (JR, ALL MY CHILDREN). I was so excited to work with him."
Eagle-eyed viewers might notice cameos from former OLTL castmate Kristen Alderson (Starr) and GENERAL HOSPITAL's Chad Duell (Michael) as well as HOLLYWOOD HEIHTS co-star Ashley Holiday (Melissa)!
"I'm super-excited about it," Underwood enthuses. "I hope everybody likes it!"
Get ready to set your DVRs! Soaps In Depth hears that the daily CBS program THE TALK will be dedicating an episode in honor of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' 40th anniversary on Monday, March 25 (a day shy of the show's actual anniversary on March 26). Details as to which cast members will be sitting at the table with the ladies of THE TALK are still being worked out, but this is one episode fans - including THE TALK's own Sheryl Underwood - won't want to miss! "I try to modulate being an uber-fan of soaps but sometimes it just comes out," Underwood enthuses!
Erin Hershey Presley's single mom Alison may not have survived her last stint on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but the actress herself is doing a whole lot better than her ill-fated alter ego — she and husband Brian Presley (Jack, PORT CHARLES) are expecting their third child!
"Hope everyone is doing well," Brian posted on his Facebook page. "I would like to take the time to share with everyone that my wife and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our third child. We are having another little girl (Ruby Rose Presley) who is due to enter the world sometime around June 15. Children are the greatest gift from God and we are very blessed to be having another child. Have a wonderful day!"
Ruby Rose will join six-year-old Jackson and three-year-old Emma in the family.

Celebrities Who Were Cheerleaders
Jennifer Lawrence has mentioned playing a lot of sports to sell herself as a tomboy in interviews, but she leaves out cheerleading with those other team sports she was on.
Amy Poehler could pep up anyone.
There's roughly 30 years difference between these pictures of Sandra Bullock, and it appears nothing has changed.
Snooki has a history in gymnastics, and was the captain of her varsity cheerleading team. Her tiny 4'9" frame made her the perfect flyer, so much so that she nearly hit the gymnasium ceiling once from being thrown too high.
Kirsten Dunst already had some cheerleading experience before her role in "Bring it On".

Michael Jordan Hit With Paternity Suit
Michael Jordan has been sued by a woman who claims he fathered her 16-year-old son ... and she wants a paternity test to prove it.
Pamela Smith claims in her paternity suit -- filed February 6 in Fulton County, GA and obtained by TMZ -- she became pregnant after having sex with Jordan in 1995. Pamela gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds -- aka Taj -- in June 1996. BTW, Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy at the time he allegedly had sex with Smith.
Pamela says in her legal docs she welcomes a paternity test to prove Jordan's the dad. She wants full custody and child support. She also wants Jordan to pay the kid's medical expenses.
Pamela also wants the judge to make Jordan the boy's legal last name.
The docs do not describe any alleged relationship between Smith and Jordan.
"Taj" posted a YouTube video (below) in December declaring that Jordan's his daddy.
Jordan is scheduled to marry Yvette Prieto in April.
A rep for Jordan had no comment.

Willem Dafoe is acting opposite Ellen Page in the videogame 'Beyond: Two Souls'
Remember last summer, when auteurist videogame designer David Cage revealed that he was working on Beyond: Two Souls, a game starring Ellen Page? Turns out Page isn’t the only Oscar-nominated actor involved in Beyond. Cage’s studio Quantic Dream revealed this morning that beloved crazy-eyed psychotic Willem Dafoe will also appear in the game. Dafoe plays Nathan Dawkins, a researcher who meets Ellen Page’s character as a little girl and apparently reappears later in her life. Based on the reveal trailer, it looks like Dafoe is playing a combination of Donald Pleasence from Halloween and Lorraine Bracco from The Sopranos.

Frank Ocean - Why We Love Him
Frank Ocean has become one of the biggest headline makers over this year’s musical awards season, picking up nominations left and right both in America and in the UK.
But despite all the nods and incredible amounts of affection from his contemporaries, Frank’s been left pretty empty handed this year, with only a fairly minor Grammy and a BRIT to sit on the mantelpiece.
While he may be getting overlooked at all the major awards shows we only need the thinnest of excuses to start gushing about him, so we’re going to pinpoint exactly why we love the man who crafted for us the best album of 2012.
Over the past eighteen months, everyone and their friend has been clamouring to work with Ocean and since the release of his incredible debut album, we’ve all been more than keen to present him with the keys to the musical kingdom.
While ‘Nostalgia, Ultra’ was a fantastic sample of what Ocean could do, the mixtape was raw and still a little rough around the edges. With ‘Channel Orange’, he perfected the formula he’d laid out before, harnessing the same levels of emotion and truth and putting them together in a much more comprehensive and well-crafted package.
Frank Ocean’s isn’t just a fantastic record in its genre though, it completely picks up the genre, shakes it around, throws out all of the rubbish and puts it back together a far better state of affairs. R&B has always had a couple of real issues, the first is that it's got a horrid habit of getting overly sentimental, the other being that it's always trying to be cool. These are two things that can never be levelled at the collective works of Ocean.
Both ‘Nostalgia, Ultra’ and ‘Channel Orange’ are disarmingly open, personal and unconcerned with bravado and self-aggrandising lyrics. From Thinkin' Bout You to Pilot Jones via Swim Good, Ocean's songs have offered an unfiltered look into the mind of the man behind the microphone.
It's this honesty that's not only endeared us massively to Frank Ocean musically, but personally as well, with us positively waving banners of support come awards time and during his recent spat with the constantly loveable Chris Brown.
This approach was instantly met with rave reviews and near universal adoration, with critics (including ourselves) saying that he’s created a new benchmark for R&B. This same level of love was shown when it came to award nominations, with Ocean earning nods for nearly all the major awards out there on both sides of the Atlantic.
Time after time though we’ve tuned in to see that he’s been beaten to the punch. Whether by Mumford and Sons at the Grammys, The Maccabees at the NME Awards or Nicki Minaj at the MOBOs, Ocean hasn’t swept away all that come before him like many perceived.
The real puzzle is that for the life of us we can’t figure out why. He’s not antagonistic or divisive, if anything giving prizes to him would actually be the opposite of that.
While he might be given his dues in statuette form later on in his career, so far Frank remains one of the most criminally under-awarded artists out there. While we’re sure that it’s not going to be keeping him up at night, it’s just annoying that a real special piece of work isn’t getting the plaudits it perhaps deserves.
So what’s your opinion of Frank and if you love him as much as we do, why do you think that he’s not been inundated with awards left right and centre so far?

Those people were not included because, as stated in the nominations post, this post is not meant for total monsters. It would kinda change the tone of the post to include domestic abusers and rapists alongside people we hate because they have ramen-noodle hair. (And you can't say you weren't warned!)
HONORABLE MENTIONS
There were a number of men who failed to make the top 15, but who deserve honorable mentions because it's a shame to let ontders' seething hatred go to waste. Can you guess which men the following statements are about? Answers below.
1. "because he is a smug, fundamentalist, sexist, racist, homophobic piece of shit who has horrible taste in women's hair styles."
2. "because we should only be seeing him in vh1 'where are they now?' specials"
3. "You do not understand how much I hate him! He's annoyingly pretentious, he gets great movie roles but he's a shit actor, he morphs into his girlfriend, he thinks he's an ~artist~ without any talent, he also thinks he's an architect bc he read a couple of books, he's bffs with George Clooney, he's a terrible actor, he's ugly, he cheated on his wife!, he takes a year to design engagement rings and they are ugly as fuck, he has come out unscathed from every relationship while his ex constantly gets shat on (Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth), his stupid long hair and his new stupid tattoos that he didn't get until he met Angelina, he's the worst, he fooled people into thinking he was talented and attractive, so many more reasons that I can't think of rn! "
4. "because he decided to turn into a cheeto and he always looks like he is holding in a fart"
5. "for drinking peach circoc in his room while jacking off to Aaliyah records"
6. "I can best sum it up by this experience I had at Barnes and Noble. I'm waiting in line behind the only open cashier while this hispter bitch in lenseless cateye glasses, a newsboy cap, and a thick knit scarf in the middle of August holds up like, ten people demanding to talk to the manager. So the manager finally gets there and she's like 'you have the Twilight series on the recommended shelf, and I am deeply offended. Have you READ those books? Have you SEEN those movies? Do you KNOW what sort of unhealthy and unbalanced BULLSHIT you're pushing on young girls?' And she argues and argues and finally idk I think the manager gave her a gift card or something just to shut her up and get the line moving, and as she's FINALLY paying she turns to the girl in line behind her and goes '[Actor] is okay though, because he admits that he knew it was all terrible but it would make him a lot of money. And he's hot.'"
7. "he always cries"
8. "tends to look like an asshole when he walks, fooled people into thinking he was attractive" and "because he should be bagging my grocery's at Whole Foods and not being cast in franchise movies."
9. "because he peed on a plane and Anderson Cooper's delightful giggles echoed in the hollow chambers of my soul and brought me to the realization that I will never know the kind of merriment that Anderson knew upon delivering those puns"
10. "Because of urinating robots"
11. "That couch. That poor couch"
12. "he reminds me of a Thanksgiving struggle plate"
13. "He is the definition of moist"
14. "his dialogue is embarrassing (like seriously i can tell dude didn't have any friends until he was in his 20s) and his fanboys are even worse"
15. "for falling in love with an ovum"
16. " As cageyb put it succintly: He is like the generically attractive white male face you get whenever a game prompts you to make an avatar at the character creation screen. He has default face."
17. "because he needs to win something."

Cover for Doctor Sleep, Stephen King's sequel to The Shining
On highways across America, a tribe of people called The True Knot travel in search of sustenance. They look harmless—mostly old, lots of polyester, and married to their RVs. But as Dan Torrance knows, and tween Abra Stone learns, The True Knot are quasi-immortal, living off the “steam” that children with the “shining” produce when they are slowly tortured to death.
Haunted by the inhabitants of the Overlook Hotel where he spent one horrific childhood year, Dan has been drifting for decades, desperate to shed his father’s legacy of despair, alcoholism, and violence. Finally, he settles in a New Hampshire town, an AA community that sustains him, and a job at a nursing home where his remnant “shining” power provides the crucial final comfort to the dying. Aided by a prescient cat, he becomes “Doctor Sleep.”
Then Dan meets the evanescent Abra Stone, and it is her spectacular gift, the brightest shining ever seen, that reignites Dan’s own demons and summons him to a battle for Abra’s soul and survival. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted readers of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.
