- Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said yesterday she was "inappropriately dismissive and harsh".
- In a statement Ginsburg said she had been "barely aware of the incident or its purpose" and that she should have "declined to respond" when asked the question by Yahoo's Katie Couric.
- Kaepernick, said Tuesday it was "disappointing to hear a Supreme Court justice call a protest against injustices and oppression 'stupid, dumb.'"

When was the last time you commented on something you barely had a clue about, ONTD?
Demi and Taylor have been in a one sided beef for a quite sometime , so i thought i'd make a post about all the times Demi shared her opinion about her (don't be rude lol :( )
1: "Allegedly" it all started because selena started to spent a lot of time with taylor and stopped being as close to demi due to her drug habits at the time . it resulted in giving us Demi's most iconic moment to date :
2- When talking about joe jonas and taylor's drama she said "Taylor will look back and realize that u dont find the one at that age"
3-In 2013 she allegedly dissed both taylor abd selena saying : "A lot of celebrities don't open up to their fans, they just tell them what they want to hear. They don't really tell them things that can benefit their lives, they just, you know, maybe flaunt around a boyfriend and sell a couple of albums. That's not what my career is about."
4- fast forward to 2016 after singing taylor praises and having a facetime session with her and selena, she came for her again, after swift donated 200k to kesha 's court case , Demi tweeted :
Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I'll be impressed.— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 22, 2016
She defended the statement on May 17, saying “I’m not going to stop saying what I believe in. I have no problem standing up for myself.” Clearly, Demi isn’t scared of burning a few bridges if that’s how she feels.
5: a few weeks ago she called out taylor and her squad for not having "real" bodies saying : “I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim that as part of their brand. To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body, It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real…. It’s not realistic.”
this post is the result of my boredom and having nothing to do this weekend , enjoy!

The New York Post has published a piece by writer Naomi Schaefer Riley sympathizing with the brother of actress Mindy Kaling in their family feud.
You may recall that Vijay Jojo Chokal-Ingam has self-published a memoir called Almost Black: The True Story of How I Got Into Medical School by Pretending to be Black detailing the hoax he perpetrated by shaving his head, darkening his skin and going by his middle name in order to present himself as African-American to get admitted to med school (he dropped out after one year). The book has an alleged quote from Mindy on the cover declaring that "This book will bring shame on our family" and Vijay recently told the Post that he responded to this statement from his sister by saying "You play a slut on national TV and you think I bring shame on the family?" ( http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/103551073.html )
Riley's piece not only supports Vijay's med-school scheme, but his characterization of his sister and her "slutty" TV character, as well, and despairs of the supposed celebration of loose women by the media:
"Poor Vijay. Like many of us, he has missed the memo from today’s PC society that being a slut is good. But pointing out that affirmative action can hurt others is bad.
Mindy wanted a career in entertainment. Vijay wanted to become a doctor like his mother. But upon realizing how hard it was, he tried another route. He saw that a friend of his from a similar ethnic and educational background did not get into a single medical school. So he decided to pretend he was African-American.
...the truth is that Chokal-Ingam said something perfectly obvious about affirmative action. When you give preference to one racial group, you take away something from another. Which is why so many South and East Asians are denied admissions to good universities across the country — when they are more qualified than the kids who do get in.
Kaling does play a slut on national television. In the current season, she is a single mother and adulterer caught in a love triangle with another man. (OP's note: Actually, in the current season Mindy's character is divorced and has sex with her ex while unaware that he is engaged to someone else).
Nor does she feel at all uncomfortable filming these steamy scenes. In her memoir, she writes, 'Obviously on-screen sex is not actual penetrative sex, but, as any religious high schooler will tell you, simulating sex can be pretty damn enjoyable as well,' she writes. And what about all those people watching? 'To that I say, the more, the merrier!'
But God forbid you say that Kaling plays a loose woman on TV or that there’s anything wrong with that...if we are meant to take our cues on these matters from the cultural elite, if they can succeed in telling us that what’s up is down and vice versa, what does that say about us? If we are so easily persuaded that sluttiness is cool or that any inconvenient truth about public policy cannot be said aloud, it says that we are weak, that our intellect has become as sloppy as our morals. And that should bring shame on all of us."
Set in the early 1990s, As You Are is the telling and retelling of a relationship between three teenagers as it traces the course of their friendship through a construction of disparate memories prompted by a police investigation.
• Dianna Agron married Mumford & Sons's Winston Marshall Saturday in Morocco
• She's been friends with Carey Mulligan for years, Carey's married to Marcus Mumford
• They got engaged last December, were first seen together in July 2015
• She was engaged to Alex Pettyfer and had relationships with Thomas Cockerel, Sebastian Stan and Dave Franco, he was liked to Katy Perry
-This is the 1st time she re-appears on social media after her drug "scandal" in 2014.
-She posted on Twitter that she now has a new Intagram account (@newharoobompark)
-"Don’t forget your password again" was (fellow 2NE1 member) Dara's reply to her on Twitter.

Natalie Imbruglia joins campaign for same-sex marriage in Australia https://t.co/gtdeSyIJGq— PinkNews (@PinkNews) October 16, 2016
Equal marriage in Australia is at risk of being shot down, after Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull failed to agree a compromise deal with opposition parties.
The campaign was created by Joshua Sasse, who's engaged to Kylie Minogue. They said they'll not tie the knot until same-sex marriage is legalized in the country.

I wrote about BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK. The 120 fps just kills this movie visually. Just so distracting. https://t.co/fiF0vpmjPs— Mike Ryan (@mikeryan) 15. Oktober 2016
Everything else, though, looks weird as hell. That much information on screen doesn't come across as hyperreal, but intensely artificial.— Alison Willmore (@alisonwillmore) 15. Oktober 2016
God bless Ang Lee for trying, but 120fps feels like fast-forward. the hyper-reality highlights artifice. myth of total cinema strikes again.— david ehrlich (@davidehrlich) 15. Oktober 2016

trisha paytas a singer/actress/model/youtuber/drump surrogate uploaded this video last night but after losing thousands of followers, she has since deleted it. there is currently no trace of this video on any of her social media accounts.
what she says in the video:
- abortion, gay marriage, racial discrimination should not be the main focus of the election
- bush was a great president, obama not so great
- ppl dont like trump bc he says it like it is as opposed to the other politicians who don't really say anything (gurl???????????)
dont watch the video, just listen to the audio cause you won't be able to see anything other than her lips

Someone musta told James Gray he'd never top the final shot in THE IMMIGRANT so he said "oh yeah?" and built THE LOST CITY OF Z around that.— Jordan Hoffman (@jhoffman) October 15, 2016
(Charlie Hunnam is filming a movie so he wasn't there)
Darius Khondji just basically saved @TheNYFF. There's so much *movie* in THE LOST CITY OF Z. Completely blown away. As epic as films come.— Joshua Rothkopf (@joshrothkopf) 16 October 2016
I think the highest compliment I can pay THE LOST CITY OF Z is that as soon as it was over, I wanted to see it again, immediately.— Life's Scary Enough (@BilgeEbiri) 16 October 2016

The Lost City of Z is definitely his most ambitious film yet. Closer to The Immigrant than Two Lovers, it's just luscious to look at. #NYFF— Joey Magidson (@JoeyMagidson) October 15, 2016
THE LOST CITY OF Z is stunning. A gorgeous, thoughtful epic about ego and exploration. A real star turn for Charlie Hunnam too. Wow!— Richard Lawson (@rilaws) October 15, 2016
