So happy to make more art with @thetylershields . Today I hit 4 Million followers on Instagram. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude & love to all of you who've continued to support me. I know I can be odd & come off a bit weird sometimes but honestly...my career & life didn't actually start flourishing until the day I decided to listen to my own instincts and do what I want to do/be myself and not mask that. I'm not going to conform to what people think is normal...and neither should any of you. That's so freakin boring haha. Be weird. Be yourself cause at the end of the day...that's honestly all that matters. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, & magical person that you are. Sending love to all of you :)


This guy never ceases to amaze me. We've created some insane photos over the past 7 yrs @thetylershields ...stoked for what's to come!

At the races & we legit have no idea what's goin on. I can't see or hear anything & I keep getting bullied by the elderly even tho I keep explaining to them that im also elderly in a way. I even had to unbutton my pants cause I was getting a belly sweat rash. Happy Birthday Will Greenberg!

Taste of Chaos Tour 2016!

Taste of Chaos is a live music tour featuring some of the best names in emo, post-hardcore, and metalcore. Started in 2005, it toured across North America, Europe and Asia, featuring acts like The Used, Saosin, Rise Against, and many more.

In 2015, Taste of Chaos announce its return, holding a one-off event in California, with The Used, Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, The All-American Rejects and others on the bill. A full US tour is now set for 2016, co-headlined by Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Suday, with the pop-punk party also set to feature Early November and Saosin.

The tour is nationwide and including Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Sunday. The festival is in San Bernandino Festival.
The Taste of Chaos Festival Lineup will include:

Nick Carter confirms Backstreet Boys residency in Las Vegas

ET recently met up with Nick Carter at the premiere of his SyFy original movie Dead7. During their interview Nick confirmed two things.

The first is something that we already know which is they have been recording a new album that is tentatively set to release later this year. The second bit of information is that the Backstreet Boys have currently signed on to a nine-show deal with LiveNation to essentially test the waters for a long term residency.

"If it does really well, then I think that'll open that door and then in future we'll do it," Carter explained to ET. "So that’s definitely going to happen but we're going to do a trial run first."

Fellow BSB member Kevin Richardson also spoke out about the residency mentioning that it's pretty ideal for them all since they have families (Nick's first baby is due any time now and all the other members have children) so they can be in one place.

This list include some great hits that happen in the 90s and 00s* but as you know with one hit wonders, they never could get another major hit or to reciprocate the success they had.

The 1990s

Knockin' Da Boots (1993)
H-Town



Hailing from Houston and discovered and signed by 2 Live Crew member Luther “Luke” Campbell, H-Town debuted with the album Fever for Da Flavor in 1993. On Fever for Da Flavor, the mega hit 'Knockin' Da Boots', which went to # 3 on the R&B charts, #11 on the Hot 100 and became certified Platinum single. They had minor hits with 'Emotions' and a remake of 'A Thin Line Between Love & Hate' couldn't come close to level of 'Knockin' Da Boots'.

He's Mine (1995)
MoKenStef



From Los Angeles, MoKenStef (combination of the first syllable of each member's name: Monifa, Kenya, and Stefanie) had a bonfide hit with 'He's Mine' off of their debut album, in which the single went #7 on the Hot 100 during the summer of 1995. But sadly they really never had another hit.

I'm Dreamin' (1991)
Christopher Williams



For folks who grew up in the 90s and watched films with predominately black actors and actresses, you may remember Christopher from his appearance in New Jack City (1991). But Christopher is better known as a singer where he had the hit 'I'm Dreamin' (which is also from the NJC soundtrack) where it hit #1 on the R&B charts. That would be Williams first and only song to that.

The 2000s

Sunshine Anderson



With Macy Gray managing her during her first album, the Charlotte, North Carolina R&B singer Sunshine Anderson had her only hit with 'Heard It All Before'. 'Heard It All Before' went to #3 on the R&B charts and #18 on the Hot 100. The single became certified Gold.

Liar (2000)
Profyle



The Teddy Riley produced song, 'Liar', is Profyle's first and only hit song. The hit song spent one week at #1 on the R&B chart and peaked at # 14 on the Hot 100.

After the Party (2001)
Koffee Brown



From the duo of Kay Gee and Darren Lighty, Koffee Brown put out the R&B classic 'After the Party'. Though not a big hit on the charts (peaking at 44 on the Hot 100) it became a hit with heavy play on R&B stations around the country.

Halsey deactivates her twitter due to receiving constant hate

She deactivated her twitter after people kept comparing her situation to Kehlani. She's complained about receiving hate before (incl people telling her to kill herself and making fun of her for speaking about mental illness) and now there's a hashtag #HalseyDeactivatedParty and tweets about Halsey being extra (s m h).

First look at The Killing Joke!

Mark Hamill, the one and only Joker, shared a link on his twitter to this 10 minute sneak peak about the making and process of the movie itself as well as an exclusive first look at the movie itself. (link to video is in the tweet above)

For the TL;DW crowd:

--    the movie will contain a prequel, showing how Barbara Gordon goes about her life as Batgirl and to make you get a feel and connection to the character and to show that she wasn't just someones daughter but was an important part for Gotham. None of this was included in the original graphic novel.

--    Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy, and Tara Strong reprise their roles as The Joker, Batman/Bruce Wayne and Batgirl//Barbara Gordon. Ray Wise will be voicing Commissioner Gordon.

Former USWNT star Abby Wambach arrested on suspicion of DUI

She was arrested this morning in Portland, Oregon.

Abby ran a red light late Saturday night and after being pulled over failed a field sobriety test. She also failed a breath test at the precinct.

She has since been released on her own recognizance.

Apparently the iHeartRadio Music Awards is on? If you care about this second-rate awards show, here is some tea, freshly poured by Taylor Swift: Taylor declined to clap for Justin Bieber after he finished his performance, deciding instead to take another sip of her drink.




Justin allegedly treated Taylor's friend Selena Gomez like crap while they dated. Remember, Taylor once made a grossed-out face when she saw Justin and Selena kissing:

Also, after Taylor won the award for female artist of the year, she thanked her boyfriend, referring to him as "Adam." (Adam Wiles, a dj who is dating Taylor Swift, changed his stage name to Calvin Harris to sound more racially ambiguous.)
