The role of Captain Phasma played by Gwendoline Crhistie was originally written for a man. Rumor has it that man was supposed to be Benedict Cumberbatch but after fans wanting more female characters in the new film Lucasfilm decided to change Phasma from male to female and Gwendoline Christie was given the part.

The Mindy Project Winter Finale: So that happened....

So the fall finale of The Mindy Project aired on HULU this morning and Mindy Lahiri was left with a huge change in her life.

  • The fall finale episode was an ode to When Harry Met Sally and visited the day that Mindy was hired into Schulman & Associates.

  • In the flashback, Mindy was sexually harassed by Jeremy and bullied by Danny as usual. Dr. Schulman mistakingly hired Mindy when he really meant to hire a protege doctor named Mandy Lahoro, who apparently was paid for med school by being on The Lion King on Broadway.

  • Danny almost had Mindy fired because she took over one of his deliveries but didn't because the couple was so happy with their delivery. Danny measured Mindy's armoire and if it was a fit in the office, she could stay, which it was.

  • In the present, Mindy and Danny continue to fight over her wanting to have her career over staying at home and having another baby.

  • After one fight, Mindy couldn't sleep and measured Leo's crib, then walked to her apartment and removed the 'For Sale' sign. She then measured her closet wall to see if Leo's crib would fit in there, which it would. She then collapsed to the ground crying while Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' played.

  • She returned to Danny's apartment, and cuddled with him while staring out the window uncertain.

James Deen denies the allegations of abuse after nine women came forward. The latest allegation coming from Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham









Bryan Sevilla, the real name of the popular pornstar, talks to former porn actress-turned writer, Aurora Snow, of The Daily Beast

+ Snow, who worked with Deen, says he acted respectful during their scenes. Deen thanks her before denying all allegations.
+ Says it's possible that his his ex-girlfriend, Stoya, fabricated the tweets to give her traffic to her website and/or because she's upset that he's moving in with his latest girlfriend. Says she treated his employee badly.
+ He apologizes if he pushed the boundaries of comfort, but it's his job as a performer of rough sex and BDSM.
+ He claims multiple women have told him that journalists offered money for a story about him.
+ He admits he's a jerk and pissed people off, but apologizes for the way he treated his ex-girlfriend Joanna Angel, who he calls "smart" and "creative."
+ Says telling rape jokes does not make you a rapist. (list of jokes he tweetedand this one when talking about 12 year old girls)
+ Says he always wanted to be a porn star and never claimed to be a feminist or a boy next door.
+ In the interview he responds to almost every allegation, from Ashley Fires to Tori Lux to being fired by Kink and Evil Angel. He's not filing any defamation lawsuits.

The DVD and Blu-ray of the last (snif) season of Hannibal was released today, so the creator and showrunner Bryan Fuller spoke with We Got This Covered about the series, what Hannibal’s possible? future would look like, the features on the DVD/Blu-ray, about his upcoming project American Gods, etc.

About the latest DVD/Blu-ray release:

  • It wasn't tougher to make (compared with the other two) but he wanted to be sure the Fannibals got the best possible version of the Season 3 collection, with a ton of extras, and a ton of commentaries.

  • There’s commentaries with Gillian Anderson, Hugh Dancy, Richard Armitage, and Rutina Wesley, and even Patton Oswalt.

  • The gag reel is hilarious, Raúl Esparza is the star of the gag reel.









About American Gods:

  • Michael Green and him are having a blast adapting the book, creating more room to tell more story with Wednesday and Shadow than you read in the novel

  • "So all of our goals with the adaptation is for the novel to be the Reader’s Digest version of the story."
