Four BuzzFeed employees had a debate over which pop diva is the most iconic diva of all time. Each employee defended a different pop star (Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé) in three categories: 1) The Look, 2) Attitude, and 3) Talent. There was no clear winner, as they decided to just say that they like all of them at the end.

-The 18 year old is set to play Ariel in Working Title and Universal's adaptation of the The Little Mermaid, confirmed the news on her instagram.
-Sofia Coppola left the project earlier this year due to creative differences with the studios. (apparently she didn't want Chloe but the studios did).
-Richard Curtis, director of Love Actually, is penned to write the script.
-No word on what direction the movie will go in.

There's this user on tumblr named zamii070 who does Steven Universe fanart. A lot of other people on tumblr created blogs bashing her and accusing her of stuff like fatshaming because her Rose Quartz wasn't overweight enough, or racism because she drew Garnet without an afro (at one point there were 43 blogs about her).

She attempted suicide and was hospitalized for treatment.

SU cocreater Ian Jones-Quartey tweeted and then deleted this after backlash.



He then tweeted this.

- Bioware released a new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer and it's narrated by the reigning queen of voice acting Jennifer Hale herself as Commander Shepard.

- So far the speculation is that that the ship at the end of the trailer is an arc headed out of our galaxy and towards Andromeda at the height of the Reaper War in an attempt to save humanity (and maybe some alien species?)

- The name of the new protagonist will possibly be Ryder or Rider, honoring astronaut Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, much like Shepard was named after Alan Shepard, the first American in space.

- The neckbeards are shedding bitter tears and claiming that feminazis have taken over Bioware and ruined Mass Effect.

Last night saw another lavish birthday party from the Kardashian Jenner clan. In celebration of Kris Jenner's 60th birthday, her kids teamed up to throw her an epic Great Gatsby-themed bash, to the tune of a cool $2 million. There was no shortage of sequin beaded gowns, cropped bobs and finger-waved tresses at the 1920s-inspired fête (except for Kourtney, who reminded us why we love her when she wore a sleek suit, slicked hair and vamp lipstick for a sultry mobster look).

According to Billboard sources, Adele is plotting a tour for her album 25, out November 20th (less than two weeks!) using a strategy that's rare for an artist that's destroying your faves: her team is working on deals on a market-to-market basis rather than cutting a single tour deal with a promoter like Live Nation or AEG Live.

Although her touring has not been strong, 31 shows from 2008 to 2011 experts expect her to destroy. "It's totally about pent-up demand," says Rathwell, an AEG vp who also believes Adele's four-year absence from the circuit won't come into play. "People just love her, they've never seen her, and they're going to see her. Sometimes being elusive and unavailable so increases your demand -- a thousand-fold in this case."

- Barbara Walters interviewed John Ramsey for her new series American Scandals this week. The series begins with the unsolved murder of 6 yr old JonBenet Ramsey, which at the time immediately placed suspicion on her parents John and Patsy
- JonBenet Ramsey would be 25 years old this year
- Burke, JonBenet's older brother, is now a 28 year old computer software developer who has never publicly spoken about his sister's death
- John says he and Patsy were super protective of Burke after the tragedy: "We worried. We didn’t know who was out there. Someone had killed our daughter. All we wanted to do was protect Burke and give him a normal childhood. I don’t let anybody I don’t know get near him. If anything happened to him, I wouldn’t survive it.”
- Heidi Horsley, psychologist and grief expert, said: “When parents have had a child die, they are very afraid that another one will be taken from them. They sometimes become overprotective because in their reality, children die. If their son is being accused of something he didn’t do and being torn apart in the media, he could end up in jail, and they could lose him too, to some extent. It’s terrifying to think, ‘I’ve lost one child — will I lose another?’”
