Emma Thompson spoke to BBC Newsnight's Emily Maitlis about climate change and the refugee crisis in Europe. Emma Thompson says that the UK's failure to take in its quota of refugees is shameful, going on to explain that she thinks the reaction in the UK to the crisis has "a lot to do with racism." Emma Thompson continued, "I think if these people were white Europeans that were coming from some dictatorship in Bosnia or somewhere, I think we would feel quite differently about it."

Spielberg's DreamWorks to split from Disney

- This is about Dreamworks' live action side and not animation
- "Disney Studios signed a long-term, exclusive agreement with DreamWorks Studios in 2009 to distribute live-action films produced by DreamWorks under the Touchstone Pictures banner for which Disney receives a distribution fee."

Jacquie Lee & Olivia Holt Promote The Upcoming DVD Release Of Disneynature's Monkey Kingdom
Yesterday in New York at Disneynature's special screening of Monkey Kingdom, singer Jacquie Lee and Olivia Holt of Disney Channel's "I Didn't Do It" fame made appearances as guest speakers to promote the September 15th DVD/Blu-Ray release of the documentary. Jacquie, as you may already be aware, contributed the song "It's Our World" in the closing credits.

Lindsay Lohan was drugged.
~Queen of sobriety and budding Buddhist Lindsay Lohan said that she was “slipped a mickey” at the wedding of friends Justin Etzin and Lana Zakocela in Florence last week.
A source (AKA Etzin) said, “Lindsay left the reception early. She’d gone back to her villa and was running around naked [and] saying she was drugged.”
Lindsay continued to be ~innocently and ~unknowingly drugged against her will over a four-day period. "It was one thing after the next." In fact, she was so victimized that during the ceremony, she was "painting her nails [...] and looking at her phone."
Apparently, the traumatic events caused Lindsay to adapt a British accent, which she utilized when she believed that guests were taking her photo. "Who took the photo?" Lindsay demanded to know. "Don't be an idiot."
~Victimized Lindsay's song of choice was Brandy’s "The Boy Is Mine," which she played on repeat.
Lindsay was once again victimized when someone slipped jewelry into her purse against her will during the ceremony, which was later reported stolen.

- Bonet has plead the fifth regarding Cosby and their time on set
- Wants to stay out of the whole ordeal
- The idea of Cosby raping these women came as "news to her" but she's as disgusted and concerned as everyone else
- As for the idea that Cosby ever hurt her mother, Kravitz says, "She's a very straightforward person. If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something."
