Is Britney considering a residency on the Vegas Strip again?

Wicked Whispers and Racy Rumors! News of pop queen Britney Spears’ decision today to end her run as a judge on Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” may have surprised fans and TV viewers, but not Las Vegas hotel executives who knew that she has a bigger project up her sleeves.

I’ve reliably learned that she’s been plotting a significant production show run on the Strip for a major hotel, and negotiations to woo her have reached a “very serious stage,” I was told this morning.

Incredibly, it’s part of the now-expanding and continuing nightclub and megabucks DJs war here, and Britney will be offered a deal that includes the shows and nightclub and dayclub events.

“She is the one and only logical all-around star with a full touring production spectacular made for Las Vegas now that hotels and nightclubs are partnering up to land the biggest talents,” I was told by a knowledgeable insider.

“Britney has one very real proposal on the table, but now that it’s definite she’s leaving ‘X Factor’ with a Las Vegas show finally in her future, it’s likely there will be a bidding war by other properties on and just off the Strip.”

The superstar has been rumored the past two years to have considered a series of concert dates here similar to Celine Dion and Shania Twain’s schedules at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. She has performed special engagements at Rain in the Palms, plus her touring shows at Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand. Britney was here recently as the birthday surprise guest for a mogul’s private party.

Hulk Hogan opens restaurant , files lawsuit, dick remains too bomb

Wrestler turned reality TV star Hulk Hogan launches his own restaurant.

The 59 year old opened the doors to the Hogan's Beach venue in Tampa, Florida Monday and he hopes his fame will bring customers flocking to the venue, reports contactmusic.com.

"It's going to be Jimmy Buffett's (Margaritaville) times 10; Hooters times 10. It's a logical extension of the Hogan brand, with my image and likeness," he told tampabay.com.

"In 36 years I've become so tangible to the public, and not just Americans. We have a chance to have an international draw. I see myself almost like a general manager, creatively," he added.

Sex Tape Files: Hogan Sues For $100 Million

Hulk Hogan refiles $100 million sex tape lawsuit agains Gawker and Heather Clem in Florida state court.

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is bringing his sex tape back to life. Hogan refiled his $100 million lawsuit in Florida court just months after he asked a judge to dismiss the suit in federal court. TMZ reports Hogan decided to dismiss the federal suit in order to consolidate his claims against Gawker and his sexual partner on the tape, Heather Clem, into one case. Hogan is suing both Gawker and Heather Clem — Hulk says he was secretly filmed and that Clem had a role in leaking the footage to Gawker.
Want to see a Hulk Hogan sex tape? Too bad, it exists >>

The sex tape featuring Hulk Hogan having sex with Clem — who at the time was the wife of radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge — was initially leaked to the website Gawker in early October 2012. The leaked video is in grainy black and white and is one minute of the 30-minute sex tape. (No, we did not watch it — tempting though, very tempting.) It is also shot from an angle looking down onto a large canopy bed, as if the camera was placed on some sort of high shelf or in a ceiling corner.
Hulk Hogan drops sex tape lawsuit when BFF apologizes >>

What's a bit odd about Hulk Hogan's sex tape is that Hulk and Heather talk to a man off camera for a bit. Gawker and most others assume the off-stage presence was Heather's now ex-husband and Hogan's best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge. So while Hulk Hogan seems to have been aware he was in some kind of voyeuristic situation, the quality of the sex tape and placement of the camera suggest to us that Hogan likely didn't know he was being filmed.

The lawsuit Hogan filed for unspecified damages against Bubba the Love Sponge was settled out of court, and Sponge apologized on the air. Given the divorce of Bubba and Clem, it seems Sponge doesn't mind wathching his wife get nailed with a massive lawsuit — ahem.

Beyonce has shrine dedicated to Beyonce <3

Beyoncé has to remind herself of just how much (and why, and how) she rules the world. To that end, the pop star keeps a meticulous, borderline-crazy sounding “archive room” in her midtown Manhattan office.

According to a GQ article: "There, across from the narrow conference room in which you are interviewing her, is another long, narrow room that contains the official Beyoncé archive, a temperature-controlled digital-storage facility that contains virtually every existing photograph of her, starting with the very first frames taken of Destiny’s Child, the ’90s girl group she once fronted; every interview she’s ever done; every video of every show she’s ever performed; every diary entry she’s ever recorded while looking into the unblinking eye of her laptop.

In a sample “diary entry” she urges herself to embrace her fears: “Stop pretending that I have it all together. If I’m scared, be scared, allow it, release it, move on. I think I need to go listen to ‘Make Love to Me’ and make love to my husband.” She also obsessively studies tapes of her performances, critiquing every last detail, and employs a “visual director” who has followed her around 16 hours a day since 2005, recording nearly her every move, and keeps the tapes in a collection “loosely modeled on NBC’s library.”

Some of this, of course, has gone into the HBO documentary about her life coming out in February, but we have to wonder what will be done with the rest. Will there one day be years worth of all-Beyoncé-all-the-time video available for public consumption? The mind boggles.

What were you thankful for on Thanksgiving? Personally I was grateful to TLC for giving us Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

So imagine my delight when the cable channel released this afternoon a clip from the upcoming Honey Boo Boo Thanksgiving special.

This early morning scene which shows the whole family deep in slumber may be the best thing I’ve ever seen. Ain’t that purty? Hard to believe you don't hear no snoring. And to see Mama June coming awake and scratching her back with a ladle? Priceless.

This clip also is a reminder of why they use subtitles when Mama speaks. Boy, howdy.

She is not only the first woman to win two Academy Awards but was also the first person to do so consecutively [1936's The Great Ziegfeld and 1937's The Good Earth]. She would later remark that by winning two consecutive Oscars, "nothing worse could have happened to me", as she felt audience expectations from then on were too high to fulfill.

She then starred in a string of unsuccessful movies, leading to the disappointment of both MGM and Rainer. After her brief three-year career in films, she told Louis B. Mayer that she had to stop making films and moved to London. Some film historians consider her the "most extreme case of an Oscar victim in Hollywood mythology".

Eddie Cibrian Accused Of Cheating On Brandi Glanville & LeAnn Rimes With The SAME Waitress!

article-2260323-16CFF39E000005DC-305_634x791

The stunning waitress who had an affair with Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Brandu Glanville has revealed that thehunky actor attempted to rekindle their romance soon after he began dating his current wife, LeAnn Rimes!
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Scheana Marie, 27, claims that the hunky star contacted her to met up for drinks soon after the split with Glanville in 2009.
Eddie wasalready dating LeAnn at the time, but the Vanderpump Rules star says she had no idea he was already seeing someone else believing he was single and separated.
“As months go by, Eddie gets separated. He then contacts me to go out for drinks,” Scheana tells Radar.
“I believed he was separated, so I was happy to go out with him again. But shortly into trying to hang out with him I find out about LeAnn, and I felt like such an idiot!”
Scheana recalls the moment she first met Eddie, 39, and says she was instantly smitten. But then, things quickly turned sour after her mom discovered he was a married man!
“Originally, I met him 7 years ago. When a really good-looking guy with big dimples wants to take you out for drinks your first question isn’t ‘are you married because you don’t have a ring on your finger?’” she says.
“We hung out, it was quite casual and about six months in my mom saw an article and was like, ‘that Eddie guy you are dating, is his last name Cibrian and is he on Third Watch?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, what do you hear?’ And she told me that he and his wife are expecting their second child!”
A distraught Scheana says she got in touch with Eddie to find out the truth, and he admitted his wrong-doing in a text message.
“He was like, ‘I’m so sorry I lied to you.’ He then switched the conversation and said, ‘by the way, are you still doing the acting thing? I have a project I’m funding, and there’s a role for you that would be great.’”
Needless to say, Scheana and Eddie haven’t spoken for a few years. “I have no interest in talking to him again,” she says.
Instead, Scheana is now appearing on Vanderpump Rules, a spin-off of Bravo’s hit reality TV show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In Monday’s premiere, Scheana came face-to-face with Brandi.

article-2260323-16CF9BF3000005DC-9_634x381

During the fiery scene, Glanville labeled Scheana a “hooker” and a “starf*cker,” which the ambitious beauty feels could harm her reputation.

article-2260323-16CF9C0E000005DC-362_634x379

“I’m sure she’s had sex with as many celebrities as I have, which actually isn’t that many. For her to say that about me is pot calling the kettle black,” Scheana says.
The two have spoken since their confrontation though, and Scheana hopes one day they can be friends.
“I’ve seen Brandi a few times since we had our talk. We are very cordial with each other, and it’s nice not to have to run out the room when we see each other,” she confesses.
“I’d like to be friends with her one day. We run in the same circles, so I don’t think it would be a crazy thing if it happened, but it’s still too soon.”
Scheana says she now regrets her actions and understands Brandi’s fury with her.
“Brandi was angry with me because I didn’t think about her feelings when I was interviewed by Access Hollywood about the affair,” Scheana says.
“Honestly, I didn’t. And that was a big mistake I made. All I thought was that I wanted to get back at Eddie because he broke my heart too.
“If I could go back I would take back every interview I ever did about him. It was a very selfish thing I did.”

General Hospital's Steve Burton Jumps to The Young and the Restless!

Brokenhearted General Hospital fans will have to change networks if they want to see fan favorite, Steve Burton on TV once again. The actor's left ABC to join CBS's The Young and the Restless.

Burton supposedly left to spend more time with his family. However, it seems that resolve didn't last very long. Instead of returning to GH as fans hoped he might, Steve's heading to Genoa City. Burton makes his debut at the end of the month on January 29.

It isn't known if GH simply couldn't make room for Burton back on their canvas. The veteran soap has been bringing back some of the show's most popular characters of late.

That means bad news for Sam McCall. She's holding out hope the bullet that supposedly claimed the life of her baby's father somehow missed the mark. It looks like she'll be holding onto a dream or turning her attention to the McBain instead. Jason's absence also leaves Carly in limbo. Her last two lovers broke her heart, without her best friend to pick up the pieces.

That leaves a gap in General Hospital. Are planning to fill it with AJ? If Jason isn't returning, then his brother might be the next best thing. He's just as shady, but can he be as sexy? Only time will tell.

Watch the announcement below which was filled with much fanfare.

General Hospital Anniversary Plans Revealed!

Though April 1 marks General Hospital's actual 50th anniversary, the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini, and head writer Ron Carlivati, have been honoring the show's rich history ever since taking over the ABC soap opera one year ago this week. Their efforts have paid off in spades — with a serious rise in ratings and multiple award nominations. With old favorites like Finola Hughes (Anna), Ian Buchanan (Duke), Tristan Rogers (Scorpio), Kristina Wagner (Felicia), Lynn Herring (Lucy) and Robin Mattson (Heather) already back on the canvas, and Genie Francis (Laura) and Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) soon making their way back to Port Charles, what else could possibly be left for fans to look forward to as the actual anniversary date approaches? Turns out plenty. Valentini opens up about all he's cooking up to celebrate GH's golden jubilee this spring.

TV Guide: What will be happening in Port Charles during the actual anniversary week?
Valentini:
We're reviving the Nurses' Ball, which is something the show did years ago to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS. I think the feel-good philanthropic aspect of the show was missing. This gives all the people in the hospital — Patrick, Sabrina, Liz, Epiphany and Felix — a real presence as we celebrate the hospital and the people who are the do-gooders. For a long time the moral compass of the show was off a little bit, and I think now we're back to where it needs to be. And the people like Luke and Sonny, who may do the wrong thing, are still good guys in their hearts. Maurice Benard (Sonny) has just signed another long-term deal with the show and there are some exciting things coming up for him and Kate in the next few weeks.

TV Guide: What can we expect to see at the Ball?
Valentini:
There will be some big story reveals over a few days. We're now doing the sketches for the set and costume designs, which are going to be really exciting.  We'll have the characters sing and dance. We'll of course have (inaugural Dancing With the Stars champ) Kelly (Monaco, who plays Sam) dance. We might even bring (her DWTS partner) Val Chermkovskiy back.

TV Guide: Safe to say Lucy's clothes will come off as in year's past?
Valentini:
Yeah, they'll come off. Lucy has a big story that will finish off right at the beginning of the Nurses' Ball.

TV Guide: Since it is the nurses ball, any chance you'd invite Jacklyn Zeman back as Bobbie Spencer since she was the hospital's reigning head nurse for so many years, and her brother Luke and daughter Carly are still front and center?
Valentini:
Absolutely. We love Jackie. We've talked on the phone a couple times and she's lovely. She might appear at the ball, though there are the realities of budgets and scheduling. We're still figuring it out. The people on the show have real affection for her so it'll all work out.

TV Guide: There are people like Bobbie and Audrey Hardy (an original character not seen since 2009) who are supposedly in the town but never seen.
Valentini:
Yes, Audrey we want to bring back as well. My assistant casting director has spoken to Rachel Ames (now 83) about coming for the Nurses' Ball. She's Liz's grandmother and we talk about her all the time so it would be really fun to have her back. I talked to her the other day and she said, 'I think I could come back and sit in the audience. That could be fun.'

TV Guide Magazine: It might also be nice to make mention of Laura's half sister, nurse Amy Vining, who was played for years by Shell Kepler before she passed away (in 2008 at age 49).
Valentini:
That's a good idea. Let me text Ron. We should.

TV Guide Magazine: What's up with this talk of a vampire storyline related to the events of the short-lived GH spin-off Port Charles?
Valentini:
We're not doing vampires. Because we have Michael (Easton, who plays John) and Lynn who were both on Port Charles with Kelly, we're just doing a nod.

TV Guide: This week, Anna referenced Holly was in a hospital room with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), but neither were seen. What is Tristan Rogers' status with the show now?
Valentini:
Tristan is so awesome. I'm personally really fond of him. Then we came up with this interesting idea of Robin being discovered by her father. Kimberly McCullough (Robin) has her directing career she's working on now so we've been able to foster a relationship with her so that she can come back and forth while she's pursuing her other goals.

TV Guide: Is the ultimate plan to have Robin back in Port Charles full time?
Valentini:
We would love to. It's going to depend on her. Our door is always open.

TV Guide: In the meantime you are setting up the character of Sabrina as a possible love interest for 'widowed' Patrick. And we all know it's only a matter of time before you give this Ugly Betty a beauty makeover. When's it going to happen?
Valentini:
It's coming. The time has come to reveal Sabrina's beauty. Maybe around the Nurses Ball.

TV Guide: When you introduced the Swiss clinic storyline, I was convinced there were going to be even more dead people being secretly kept alive. Tops on my wish list were Alan and Maxie's sister Georgie. Any chance?
Valentini:
That's a really big facility so anything can happen (laughs). At this point we don't have anything planned. We hope to be seeing Stuart (Damon, who plays Alan) again. And everyone loved Georgie.

TV Guide: Maxie's got to be pregnant with Spinelli's baby, right?
Valentini:
She is probably pregnant.

TV Guide Magazine: Can you see yourself recasting the Jason role now that Steve Burton has signed with The Young and the Restless?
Valentini:
Not at this point because Jason's absence opens up a lot of fun possibilities for Sam.

TV Guide: With Prospect Park now reviving One Life to Live, which you executive produced in its final days, there are reports that they have first rights to the characters of John McBain and Todd and Starr Manning, who you've now successfully integrated into the Port Charles canvas. Should we be worried they'll all have to say goodbye?
Valentini:
Right now we're trying to work it out. I can't really say because the lawyers are doing their thing. Our hope is that we'll be able to continue what we're be doing.

TV Guide: Genie Francis has been so misused during her previous returns. What will be the extent of her participation this time?
Valentini:
It's open-ended and will be something really exciting that will affect the whole Spencer family. We're working on bringing back some of the Spencer boys as well.

TV Guide: The Spencer boys are Lucky, played by Jonathan Jackson who is now on Nashville, Ethan and Nikolas. Who do you want to bring back?
Valentini:
Nashville is part of the ABC family so it's just a scheduling situation for Jonathan, who is just a lovely guy. And maybe Ethan. And I've met with Tyler (Christopher, who plays Nikolas) who is a strong possibility. I can't say definite because we have to make deals.

TV Guide: And Denise Alexander, who played Laura's mother, Lesley Webber?
Valentini:
The casting people are looking into her availability now.

TV Guide: Anything you can tell us about Laura's storyline?
Valentini:
We will explore where she's been, what she's been doing, why she's been away and she'll come back with a big secret.

TV Guide: Laura was written off at one point as flying off with Scotty Baldwin. Any plans to bring back Kin Shriner, especially now that Lucy's back?
Valentini:
We'd love to have Kin back, it's just right now we're juggling so many. And we don't want to short shrift anyone in terms of their returns. Timing is important. We were careful to bring Felicia back when we got (Kirsten Storms) back as Maxie.

TV Guide: That brings us to Frisco. Are we going to see Jack Wagner, who hasn't been in Port Charles since 1995?
Valentini:
Yes. I think it's going to happen. We're very excited. He's got a lot of things going on, so it will be a limited thing for now. We're working with his schedule.

TV Guide: Given that Jack and Kristina were once married in real life, safe to assume you got the okay from Kristina first?
Valentini:
Well, yes and no. I feel I have to respect people's privacy. I just let her know that we were going to be doing a story that involved Frisco Jones, because as an actor that's what she needed to know, and she was fantastic. They get along great and have a family, so it's all good.

TV Guide: Maybe you can reunite Kristina and Jack in real life?
Valentini:
(Laughs) Stranger things have been known to happen. Hey, on One Life to Live, I introduced David Fumero (who played Cristian Vega) and his wife, who played his sister.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Reaches 12,000 Episode: A Celebration In Photos!

NBC is airing the 12,000th episode of DAYS OF OUR LIVES on Friday. Below are some of our favorite photos from throughout the years.

Rena Sofer Cast as Snow White's Mother!

Snow White's (real) mother is coming to Once Upon a Time!

Former General Hospital star Rena Sofer has been cast as Queen Eva, the mother of Ginnifer Goodwin's Snow whom we'll see in flashbacks, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Once Upon a Time Postmortem: Who died? Who lived? And what's next?

Sofer, whose other credits include Bones and NCIS, is slated to appear in at least one episode set for early March, which will also feature Bailee Madison as young Snow White. As previously reported, Eva has a surprising connection to someone we already know.

We may know Queen Eva's fate is ultimately grim, since Regina (Lana Parrilla) came to marry Snow's father King Leopold (Richard Schiff), but the journey to her death should be very interesting.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.

Drake Hogestyn Exits Days of Our Lives … But For How Long?!

Looks like Kristen’s (Eileen Davidson) machinations has John and Marlena (Deidre Hall) right where she wants them! And next week is a critical point for Jarlena fans when after the trust, and the one thing John values most in this world, honesty, appears to have broken down between the long-suffering couple.

On the heels of that, it will pave the way for the exit of Drake Hogestyn (John Black) as previewed in this week’s Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now.

Hogestyn will last be seen on next Friday, January 18th’s episode of DAYS when John leaves the canvas for a short while. But how long will he be away? How will it affect the war between Kristen and Marlena? A DAYS spokesperson could not be reached for comment.

However in this week’s SOD on what facilitates John’s exit, Drake Hogestyn revealed, “John says he needs space and that he’s confused.”

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Renewed Through September 2014!

On the heels of celebrating its 12,000th episode, NBC has extended its long-running daytime drama DAYS OF OUR LIVES for an additional year, taking the show through September 2014 and past its 48th year anniversary in November 2013. The extension was announced today by Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment. The 12,000th episode will air this Friday, January 11.

“We are thrilled to announce that DAYS OF OUR LIVES is not going anywhere. It is NBC's longest-running drama series by far and is one of the most historic brands in television,” said Salke. “We commend Ken Corday and the entire creative team on continuing to keep the stories and characters fresh, exciting and relevant year after year.”

“DAYS OF OUR LIVES has maintained a loyal and dedicated fan base for more than four decades and continues to reach a new generation of viewers,” said Steve Mosko, President, Sony Pictures Television. “We appreciate NBC’s support over the years and, as the show celebrates this significant milestone, we are thrilled that the show will continue to be a part of the NBC family.”

Executive producer Ken Corday follows in the tradition of his parents, Betty and Ted Corday, who co-created DAYS OF OUR LIVES and helmed the series for many years.

“After so many years in the homes and hearts of our loyal fans, I’m both humbled and elated to say it’s 2013 and we’re still going strong,” said Corday. “I am equally proud that the sense of family which my mom and dad established in our show 48 years ago, is still what drives it today. As we celebrate our 12,000th episode with an amazing cast and great support from our network, we look forward to what’s yet to come!”

Martha Greenhouse Dead at 91!

Actress and union leader Martha Greenhouse died Jan. 5, SAG-AFTRA announced. She was 91.

Greenhouse’s TV and film credits included THE EDGE OF NIGHT, RYAN'S HOPE, THE DOCTORS AND THE NURSES, LAW & ORDER, The Stepford Wives and the original production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. She appeared in many plays on and off Broadway, including "Summer Brave,""Dear Me," and Jose Quintero’s "Our Town."

In 1975 she played Mrs. Huber on RYAN'S HOPE, a tenant in a building with no heat or hot water than Frank Ryan helps.

Greenhouse joined AFRA (the radio-only predecessor of AFTRA) in 1941 and the Screen Actors Guild in 1955 and became deeply involved in union activities. Highlights of her service include five terms as the president of AFTRA’s New York Local, from 1977-1982, and two terms on SAG’s National Board, from 1981-1987.

More recently she served as an AFTRA Foundation board member and was president of the AFTRA Heller Memorial Foundation for more than a decade. She also served on the board of the N.Y. Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and was an AFTRA representative to the Associated Actors and Artistes of America.

Greenhouse remained active on the national and local AFTRA boards until 2005 and 2010 respectively, and received practically every award the union had to offer: the Founder’s Award, the N.Y. Local’s Ken Harvey Award and the George Heller Gold Card, the highest honor given by national AFTRA for service to the union.

“During her more than 40 years of board service, Martha helped lead the New York Local of AFTRA through turbulent times, and the union came out stronger due to her hard work, talent and dedication,” said SAG-AFTRA Co-President Roberta Reardon. “She was an inspiration not only to me but to the entire leadership. Her service to the union should be held up as an example to everyone who will walk in her footsteps.”

Lindstrom Returns To GH!!

With all the whackos in Port Charles, what GENERAL HOSPITAL really needs is a good shrink... and that's exactly what they're getting! On Wednesday, January 30, Jon Lindstrom returns to the canvas after a nine-year absence as Dr. Kevin Collins, who also happens to be Lucy's main squeeze.

"The last we knew, it was implied at Lila's memorial that Lucy had reconciled with Kevin, and that they were together," says headwriter, Ron Carlivati. "And we did see a picture of him on her desk at CoeCoe Cosmetics. So the big question is, where is he and why hasn't she mentioned him? Lucy gets herself into a pretty major jam during February sweeps and, when that happens, she receives a surprise visitor. That is Kevin. When he arrives, you'll find out why you haven't seen him yet, why she hasn't mentioned him and what is the status of their relationship."

At present, ABC is remaining hush hush about the length of Lindstrom's stay.

General Hospital: Are Vampires Returning to Port Charles?!

They're back in town and ready to kill. Or are they? Years before bloodsuckers were all the rage via True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and Twilight, they were raising holy hell on Port Charles. The 1997-2003 General Hospital spinoff featured Michael Easton as vampire stud Caleb Morley, Kelly Monaco as his luscious lover Livvie and GH crossover fave Lynn Herring as vampire slayer Lucy Coe. Now that Herring is back on GH as Lucy and Easton and Monaco are on the soap in different roles, it's time for some wicked fun!

On Monday, Jan. 14, Lucy will drop by Kelly's Diner for some chow and spot John McBain, the good-guy cop played by Easton. "She completely freaks and screams, "Caleb!" says head writer Ron Carlivati. "Later Kelly's character, Sam, comes out of the ladies room and Lucy think it's Livvie." Lucy goes into full slayer mode and stabs John. He's rushed to the hospital. She ends up in the slammer.

"Our universes are colliding but this is no quick gimmick," Carlivati promises. "This will kick off a nice little mystery story: Is Lucy crazy or is there something very real going on here? And, if she's crazy, why do John and Sam feel like they've met before?"

The plot gets even dizzier when Duke Lavery, played by Ian Buchanan who also played vampire king Joshua Temple on PC, pays a visit to Lucy at the jailhouse. "That really throws her for a loop — in fact, the whole thing's a total mindfuck!" says Carlivati. "We'll also throw Sam's mother Alexis [Nancy Lee Grahn] into the mix as Lucy's attorney."

How far will Carlivati take this thing? "The story does get pretty over-the-top yet it's still rooted in a certain reality," says the scribe. "Lucy may be off-kilter but she's certainly not in Heather Webber territory. Her belief in vampires will be very convincing." Especially for the PC viewers who saw it all happen!

"That show was so ahead of its time and this is a nice nod to the fans who supported all those wild chances we took," Herring says. "I love that we're still taking chances and not sidestepping the past. If Lucy met up with John and didn't recognize him, we'd be flooded with complaints!"

The return to vamp territory is especially gratifying for Herring who wasn't welcomed back to GH when PC was cancelled. "That was very disheartening," she says. "It never occurred to me that Lucy wouldn't still have a place in town if PC didn't work out. But you know what? Even knowing what I know now, I would still go off to do PC. I would not trade that fabulous experience for anything!"

Cameron Mathison & Jennie Garth Start Production This Week On New ABC Family Film 'Home Again'!

Prospect Park's Jeff Kwatinetz believes the timing is right for return of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE!

After some classic soap opera twists – union spats, outraged fans, squishy financing – a Hollywood production company, Prospect Park, on Monday confirmed that the canceled “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” would live on in cyberspace. For real this time.

The “necessary financing” is set, as is the involvement of Agnes Nixon, the creator of both soaps. The Online Network also named three other senior executives.

This is about more than saving soap operas, which have a relatively small but intensely loyal fan base. It is a bold bet that the Web — because of the proliferation of broadband, Internet-enabled TVs and the iPad — is now a practical way to funnel traditional shows to viewers.

If the popularity of streamed 30-minute and 60-minute shows on Netflix and Hulu is any indication, consumers are ready to move beyond using the Web for bite-size video, Mr. Kwatinetz and Mr. Rich are gambling.

“I know it’s been a long journey, but the timing is actually fortuitous as TV viewing is evolving rapidly in our direction,” Mr. Kwatinetz said in an interview. “The adoption of online TV in the last year has begun to move exponentially as viewers start to realize the immense advantages digital distribution affords. But all of that is unmatched compared to the relentless fan support. Since they didn’t give up, either did we.”

Jack Wagner on possible GENERAL HOSPITAL return!

Wagner (ex-Frisco), who Digest revealed to be atop GH's wish list for vets to bring back to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary in April, confirmed to the Huffington Post that he has been contacted by execs. "I have nothing to say about it," he offered.

"They have called, but there's nothing in ink or anything like that. I know it would be pretty special to work with Kristina [Wagner, Felicia], my ex-wife, again so we'll see what happens. I know it's around the corner here and if I go back, it would only be for a very short story arc. But I might do it just to honor that show and what it's meant to my career and the fans and to Kristina's career."

Trouble is coming to 'The Young and the Restless'!

MSN TV: How did this role come together for you?

Jhoanna Flores: I can't say it was easy, but it was the traditional route. My agent saw them casting this role. First call, second call, first test with the network. Then I got the call that they wanted to test me again [and that I should] wear a little more makeup and look a little more mature. I felt like it was every beauty pageant queen from South America! It was a little discouraging, but I booked it a couple days later, so it was completely worth it.

Who did you audition with?

I read with Robert [Adamson] as Noah. I think they were really going for the chemistry between the two characters. In the scene, my character has to be seductive and [was] supposed to kiss him. Before we walked in, this girl's like, "Do we kiss him?" The casting directors were like, "No! That would just be gross." But we had to act like we did and look him in the eyes and touch his neck and his chest. He did it very gracefully.

What can you tell us about your character?

Seductive, manipulative, and she is after Noah. She's just bad news. She comes with some trouble under her sleeves. You don't know what her true motives are. The relationship between her and Noah will excite viewers.

Noah has a pretty big family. Has Adriana run into any of the Newmans yet?

No. You do see them talking about me, because they know I'm back in town. The only other person I've had a scene with so far is Ignacio [Serrichio], who plays Alex. He's great. The first day we met, we talked about our characters and where they're going. We got it done in one take. He's great and professional and really funny. He cracks jokes the whole time. It lightens the mood.

You've characterized Adriana as seductive and trouble. Is there anything redeeming about this girl?

At first, you see a lot of trouble and manipulation, but Noah is so forgiving for her. You definitely see the moments where she's like, "Wow, he really cares about me." But at the beginning, I'm expecting most girls who have crushes on Noah to hate me. I'm waiting for it. I know he has a huge fan base and they are going to not like me!

James Franco parodies Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend"!

General Hospital alumni and Oscar nominee James Franco (ex-Franco) has teamed up with Pretty Little Liars and former Days of Our Lives star Ashley Benson (ex-Abby Deveraux) for a parody of Justin Bieber’s hit song “Boyfriend.” While Franco impersonates The Biebs, Benson slips into Selena Gomez’s role from the original music video.

Genie Francis Returning To GENERAL HOSPITAL!

It’s the comeback that General Hospital fans have been waiting for: Genie Francis, who spent a little over a year on The Young and the Restless, will return to the ABC soap, EW has learned exclusively.

Francis just closed a deal to reprise her role as Laura Spencer for the drama’s 50th anniversary this year. She’ll report to the Los Angeles set sometime later this month for a Feb. 11 debut, which is actually 50 days before the series’ April 1 anniversary.

It’s unclear how long Laura, will stick around Port Charles this time. Executive producer Frank Valentini was definitely interested in staging a comeback for Francis but they made the decision to wait for the right time.

“I don’t know what the story is,” she says. “I have no idea, but Frank is very persuasive, energetic, infectious and has a sense of fun, a positive-ness that makes you want to work for the guy. He assured me there was going to be nice stuff to play. I am choosing to believe him!”

Francis had only one caveat — that there be an explanation for why she was gone from Port Charles for so long. In the GH world, Laura has three kids: Lulu and Lucky with Luke Spencer, and Nikolas with Stavros Cassadine. “It’s not for me to tell them how to run their show. But my biggest concern was that there had to be a good reason for me to stay away from my family.”

Patrika Darbo on Nancy's return to Salem!

Patrika Darbo returns to Days in March as Chloe's mom, Nancy Wesley.

"I was back in November taping," shares Patrika Darbo. "It was very easy to come back and play Nancy. The current writers are very tuned into who this character is, which is always terrific."

Chloe has been through a lot since the last time Nancy was seen in Salem. Shares Darbo, "With some of the things that have happened to Chloe, Nancy would have knifed some people a long time ago!"

In addition to working with Nadia Bjorlin, Darbo's upcoming scenes will include Shawn Christian, who plays Daniel. "He's adorable," praises the actress.

To see what Nancy is up to when she returns to Salem, tune into Days this March!

General Hospital’s Laura Wright Weighs-In On The Future Of The Carly/Todd Relationship!

General Hospital’s Todd Manning is in hot water these days in Port Charles! After finally kick-starting a romance with Carly Corinthos Jax, Todd’s machinations in the baby switch plot with Heather Webber, and the heartache it caused Sam and Jason, has finally come to the attention of Carly and she is devastated when Todd admits what he did.

However in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Daytime Emmy winner Laura Wright (Carly) discusses the future of the relationship between Todd (Roger Howarth) and Carly, and from what we can discern, this dynamic duo could be in each other’s orbit for the long haul!

Wright revealed, “The relationship with Todd, in my opinion, and I’m pretty sure Roger as well, is a big deal! Roger and I talked to the writers at the GH Christmas Party about how, yes, Blair and Todd are wonderful and Sonny and Carly have their history, but there is something about Carly/Todd that is whole new world. For these two characters what’s happened between them is extremely emotional, realizing that they have fallen in love with someone and they thought it could be forever and now that’s messed up and it’s very difficult.”

As angry as Carly is at this point with Todd, Wright points out that deep down, Carly does not want Todd out of her life citing: “In her heart, she wants him to try and win her back and tell her that she’s the most important thing in his world and he will do whatever it takes to fix it. I have a feeling that writers are going to be forced into it. (Laughs) I am telling you once all these scenes air the fans are going to go nuts!”

Pilar drew closer to Bill after she learned of Michelle's release, and decided not to tell Bill the real truth about her mother and Ben's murder. Jesse learned that Danny had manipulated Michelle's alibi, but agreed to keep quiet. Michelle and Drew made up. Edmund helped Carmen keep Vanessa quiet, and Carmen told Edmund the truth about Ben's murder. Edmund and Carmen continued their plot against Vanessa. Rick informed Matt that a sedative had caused Vanessa's relapse, and warned Matt about Carmen. Carmen prepared for damage control, and Matt restricted Vanessa's visitors. Abby told Rick the truth about her fears and uncertainties of raising a family. Cassie and Richard fought their real attraction for each other. Cassie was optimistic about a future with Richard, however Reva arrived in San Cristobel to tell Richard about Jonathan's whereabouts. Richard admitted his anger toward Reva and that Cassie was part of his revenge against her; he agreed they should go to Jonathan together. Cassie was stunned to see Richard and Reva in a loving embrace.

First trailer for Danny Boyle's Trance

$

Awesome; Danny Boyle is back with his first new film since 2010, and what it lacks in James Franco amputations, his latest, Trance more than makes up for in James McAvoy, and a reunion with writer John Hodge for the first time since 2000's The Beach.

Trance stars James McAvoy as Simon, an art dealer who plots with, then betrays a criminal gang over the theft of a Goya masterpiece. The leader of the gang (Vincent Cassel) bashes Simon in the head over the betrayal, an injury which Simon then claims as the cause of amnesia which has the convenient side effect of erasing the memory of where he hid the pilfered art. (Note to self: practice amnesia for my spectacular bank robbery plan.) The question of whether or not Simon is lying looms large, and the mobster then hires a hypnotherapist (Rosario Dawson) to draw the damaged memories out, which apparently leads to a confusing blend of reality and dream, plus, we assume, plenty of angry Europeans and punching.

Is Gosling's buzz bigger than his box office?

Ryan Gosling, who returns to the big screen in the crime drama Gangster Squad, is seen as one of Hollywood's hottest actors — but is his buzz bigger than his box office?

According to boxofficemojo.com, Gosling's movies have earned a combined $336 million in the U.S. and Canada, or an average of $24 million per film. That's low compared to other Canadian actors like Ryan Reynolds ($42 million), Rachel McAdams ($83 million) and Seth Rogen ($85 million) and a long way from the average takes of stars like Tom Cruise ($97 million), Brad Pitt ($67 million) and Will Smith ($135 million).

Movies marketed with Gosling's face alone have generally not done well. The four in which he received top-billing — and appeared solo on the posters — have taken in less than $50 million combined.

Drive earned $35 million and The Believer, Half Nelson and Lars and the Real Girl made only $14.4 million combined.

When Gosling is portrayed as the romantic male lead, the results are slightly better. The three movies in which he appeared on posters with a female co-star have earned a total of $91 million at the box office. But this respectable figure is almost entirely thanks to The Notebook ($81 million) because All Good Things ($582,000) and Blue Valentine ($9.7 million) were duds.

When Gosling has been marketed on posters as part of an ensemble cast, the numbers go up slightly. Crazy, Stupid, Love had him sandwiched between Steve Carell and Julianne Moore and earned $82.3 million; The Ides of March, showing half of his face combined with half of co-star George Clooney's face, earned $41 million; and Fracture, showing the actor below Anthony Hopkins, earned $39 million.

But Stay, showing Gosling in the middle of Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts made only $3.6 million and The United States of Leland, where Gosling shared the poster with co-stars like Don Cheadle and Kevin Spacey, took in less than $350,000.

When Gosling was left off the posters completely (Remember the Titans, Murder by Numbers) the total box office haul was an impressive $150 million.

The poster promoting Gangster Squad shows Gosling alongside co-stars Sean Penn and Josh Brolin — as well as Emma Stone, whose box office average is an impressive $88 million.

Nicki Minaj’s Hairstylist Quits

Nicki Minaj has been carrying a long face lately while being spotted out at various events and now we know why. Her famous hairstylist has bailed out on her and is no longer a part of the Barbz team.

Last night, Terrence Davidson, the man behind Nicki Minaj’s wig selection for the last three years announced that he has parted ways with the star after a few creative differences. This is sort of a big deal being that Nicki Minaj’s hair has become a huge part of her brand and the last thing she needs right now is to have to look for someone new in the midst of her hectic American Idol schedule. You know how us women are about folks we don’t know touching our hair.

Her hairstylist wrote in a statement:

“I would like to inform the media and supporters that I’ve decided to step away as hair stylist and wig creator for Nicki Minaj. It has been an amazing experience offering me a chance to express my creativity and exhibit my love for the art form of wig design. I have decided to part ways from Nicki Minaj because I would like to explore other opportunities within my own brand and re-energize my creativity through work in fashion editorial, beauty consultations, media personality, ‘how-to’ lectures and hair show development. I am very proud of the body of work built with Nicki Minaj and I appreciate the support over the years from fans who’ve expressed love for my craft. Look forward to seeing me larger than life in 2013”

This could make AI a little more interesting. It may also mean this could be the end of Nicki’s over-the-top hair era. Only time will tell.

Hurray for Linc and Bolivia but I am going to be so upset next week. This show has been so amazing. I also hope Skidmark dies painfully.

Filming on One Direction's concert movie will begin this weekend.

Super Size Me filmmaker Morgan Spurlock will start work on the 3D project in Tokyo, Japan.

Spurlock says the technology is not popular with everyone, but "once they can crack that nut of having a true 3D experience where you don't have to have those glasses or sit at a certain angle, it will become a conversation again."

The documentary maker - who also admitted he was considered to direct concert films for Justin Bieber and Katy Perry - said he wanted to work with the group because he is fascinated by their meteoric rise to fame since competing on The X Factor UK in 2010.

"These guys have gotten so huge in such a short amount of time - why?

"What makes them more special than any other people?"

Morgan was recently praised by the One Thing hitmakers - comprising Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - as the perfect choice to work on their film.

"Morgan works well because ... he did a lot of documentary movies," Niall said.

"It's going to be a concert movie, but with a documentary side than concert side so we wanted to get our personalities across because the fans know us, but we want them to know us deeper."
